15 years experience in teaching Piano, Theory and Composition, gathering and selecting pedagogical approaches from the thoughtful experience of my two MA Degrees in Piano and Experimental Composition at "G.Verdi" Conservatory in Milan and beyond, in the field, exploring different methods of aural skills acquisition, piano technique, compositional perspectives in both classical and modern music.

I have experience with both entry level and advanced students.

My method is based on each student in particular. It doesn't matter what your level is, I enjoy teaching people who have a commitment to music and art. The main topics we'll work on are: Recognizing the guitar fingerboard, technique, sound, ear training, transcribing, harmony and harmony applied to the instrument, and reading and studying the instrument through the music you like and chose.

So, instead of a rigid curriculum in which you lose interest in a short time, I would like to support you in achieving your personal plans and discovering musical possibilities!

Hi, I am Elijah and I work as a professional drum teacher and drummer session.

Over the past 15 years of experience I have recorded albums with various artists and performed live on tour in Europe. I graduated in Jazz Drums and Percussions from the Licinio Refice Conservatory of Music. And I have learned from great drummers different skills and techniques in master classes and seminars. (Berklee College or Music, Saint Louis College of Music etc.).

Dear music lover,

As an experienced and certified cellist / orchestra musician from Lisboa, Portugal, with several years of teaching, I accompany children, beginners, adults and advanced students into their musical dream and future.

I adapt myself individually to the wishes and needs of my students.
My focus is not only the technichs and motor skills of the instrumental playing, but always trying to convey musical relationships.

The motivation and enthusiasm of my students always come on the first plan.
I bring all my experience and knowledge to my lessons.

In my teaching I also develop skills such as musical hearing and memory, coordination, concentration, rhythm, basics of music theory and improvisation.

Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better.

I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play.

When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises.

I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :)

I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition.

My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France.

My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones.

This class introduces the core concepts of film scoring and how music shapes story, emotion, and narrative in film and television. Students will learn how to support and move images through music, exploring timing, mood, theme, and structure. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and level, from complete beginners to advanced composers, and can focus on electronic, orchestral, or hybrid approaches.

The course also includes analysis and deconstruction of existing film scores to understand compositional techniques and storytelling strategies. Students will learn how to set up and optimize their digital audio workstation for film scoring, define personal creative goals, and work with industry-standard orchestral sample libraries and synthesizers such as Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools, and Cinematic Studio Series. Films with sound design and no music can be provided for hands-on scoring exercises, enabling practical experience working directly to picture.
