About Me

I have been teaching oboe and recorder for about 10 years and I am musically active in various fields - as an orchestral musician, soloist and as the leader of my own ensemble.

After my studies in Linz, Basel and Amsterdam I studied music pedagogy in Karlsruhe. There I specialized in music mediation, student motivation and ensemble conducting.

One of my special focuses is the repertoire of the Baroque (Bach, Handel, Telemann) and the Viennese Classical period (Mozart, Beethoven).

Education

I hold a master in music pedagogy as well as a master in historical performance (baroque oboe). Additionally I constantly stay up to date with the newest developments in music pedagogy through further training.

I am active artist and play around 30 concerts a year. And I have 10 years of teaching experience under my belt. I teach 15 students of all ages at the moment.

Hello,
Recently graduated with a double master's degree (master in pedagogy + master in performance) in violin at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel, I offer violin lessons.

My lessons are aimed at a wide audience of all levels (from beginners to 3rd cycle conservatory) and of all ages.

I can adapt to the needs and objectives of each student and, for example, offer additional musical training courses.
I am also open to all types of directories.

I can give lessons at my home, but also at the Hochschule in Basel or at the student's home if it is not too far away.

As a performing artist since 1997 with twenty years of teaching experience, I have earned the confidence to give you the skills and allow you to observe inwards as you refine them.

In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different.

For the last 15 years I have been teaching private lessons and in music schools.

Although my main focus is Jazz, I have trained classical for many years.
