Bonjour, I'm of mixed French and Polish origins and I've been living in Paris for many years. I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. During my class, you will learn how to communicate effectively - and in order to speak, you'll need to practice! I have a passion for French culture, literature, music, film and theatre, and I believe that it's through culture and experiencing the language directly in everyday life that you really immerse yourself in a language. I train also for exams and DELF/DALF. Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums. Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). English is the main language of the world; it is a language in which most people communicate with each other. Most podcasts, books, films and series are often made in this beautiful language. That is why it is very important nowadays to be able to speak and listen well in English. You really can't start studying English early enough.
