Concertgebouw's Viola Academist offers: Viola lessons and Auditions training.

I am Jose Carlos, currently academist in the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, I also won recently a tutti viola position in Phion Orkest.
I studied my master's degree with Prof. Wolfram Christ in Freiburg. I recieved lessons from Nobuko Imai, Kim Kashkashian and Harmut Rohde, among others.
I want to share all I have learned from them and from my experience.
Currently based in Amsterdam, I offer viola lessons and auditions training.

I am a patient teacher focused on the individuality of each student. I learn from every class I teach and I develop myself as a teacher through different sources (courses from my master's degree, including a Master's degree in Educational Innovation and Research that I am currently pursuing at the National University of Distance Education of Spain, UNED).
I love teaching everything I have learned from the great professors and magnificent experiences I have had during my career as a musician and violist.
