F. Murat was born in 1980 in Ankara, Turkey. He started playing electric bass at the age of 17. He played with lots of bands and popular artists in Turkey.

In 2006 he came to Amsterdam to study Jazz Bass in Conservatorium van Amsterdam. There he studied electric bass with Charlie Angenois, Jan Hollestelle, Lene te Voortwis, Theo de Jong and David de Marez Oyens. In 2006 he had private lessons with Kai Eckhardt. He participated workshops and master-classes with Ney Conceicao, Dominique di Piazza, Lorenzo Feliciati, and Gary Willis, Tim LaFevbre, Reggie Washington and Matthew Garrison.

In 2010, he graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam and got accepted to the Master Programme again in CvA. In March 2012, he has presented his master research on “Karna-Turk Music” in 9th Annual Research Symposium. He finished his master studies in June 2012.

He is an active bass player, composer, arranger and teacher, who lives and works in Amsterdam.

Do you want to work on classical repertoire? Do you want to learn songs from around the world or invent your own? do you want to play happy birthday to your best friend with a Cello?

Let's explore together this beautiful instrument with pieces that you like, finding different ways to play one thing, becoming actors on the stage of music... Let's create games to develop creativity and technique, those that will help you to personalise your way of playing.

With music, we learn much more than just playing pieces. I always thought about how the ancient Greeks introduced Music as an essential subject in school. Music was to heal, to entertain, to get to know yourself more.
I'm just finished my studies in the University of Arts of Codarts (Rotterdam) and I can't deny I will always keep learning after finishing my degree. I'm looking forward to sharing some knowledge and to hear what you already know.

What can i offer?
Styles that we can work on: Classical, Folk, Jazz, Pop music.
Languages that we can speak in the lesson: Dutch, English, Catalan or/and Spanish
Skills that we can work on: basic techniques, jazz and folk techniques, play the cello while singing, percussion on the cello.

How do I work?
Each class will be individually prepared, in order to have the student goals in mind. In our first lesson we can get to know each other and then we will figure out what do you want and how can I help you.
For BEGINNERS I teach the bow, finger positions and other basics with easy songs (with kids I add games to make it more entreating). Such as relating painting with playing, dancing with playing or literature with playing.
For AVERAGE LEVEL we explore, with already some technique, how to play songs, finding a good sound and feel at ease with the instrument.

Extra activities:
Once a month I plan a rehearsal with pianist to work on some repertoire of cello and piano. Meetings with other students are also arranged to play duos together. It's very necessary to play with people and not get stuck in our own individual studies!

Making music is incredible. You can have fun, express your feelings, develop your brain, share nice moments playing, meet new people and other countless benefits...
Violin and viola are beautiful string instruments that can be challenging but also very fun to learn and you do need a good teacher to help you with that!
Besides being a professional viola player, I am also studying teaching and music education, in order to become a better teacher and adequate my approach according to the individual needs of each student.
I have lots of experience teaching children and adults in my country and in teaching children here in the Netherlands!
I will also give you all the support to find the right instrument for yourself!

Ongeacht je level, leeftijd of verwachtingen, ben leraar met een flexible installations. Met ervaring in het lesgeven van mensen van alle leeftijden, niveaus y muzikale voorkeuren de achtergronden. Oftewel, by lessen zullen aangepast zijn op de omstandigheden, voortgang en wensen van de Student.

Do you have a specific repository on will krijgen? Ik kan je helpen met Barok, Klassiek, Romantiek, Modern, Wereldmuziek, Popmuziek of Traditionele muziek. Maak je niet druk, ik zalj je helpen om je eigen weg te vinden.

Als het aankomt op leren, zijn we allemaal verschillend. Daarom maak ik no gebruik van één standard reading method. Het is mijn doel om een leuke, gvarieerde y uitdagende studiepad voor je te ontwikkelen dat om jouw doelstellingen te behalen. Ik ben een ervaren fluitist and ik kijk ernaar uit om je de weld van de fluit en muziek te laten ontdekken op een leuke de uitdagende manier.

Ik werk daarnaast as a professional fluitist met verschillende orkesten in Nederland, zoals het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest, the Philharmonie Zuid-Nederland, the Nieuw Ensemble and velen meer, often ik heb meer dan genoeg om met je te delen!

I am an experienced flute teacher and I hope to show you a fun and exciting way to explore the world of flute and music.

I also work as a professional flutist with different orchestras in the Netherlands, such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Philharmonie Zuidnederland, Het Nieuw Ensemble and many more, so I have a lot to share with you!

I'm a 24 years old Portuguese violist currently living in Amsterdam.
I have studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn for 6 years from 2014 till 2020.
As a freelancer I work with numerous orchestras such as: Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. I'm also an active chamber music player, amongst others as a member of the Rotterdam Chamber Music Society.

In addition to my private teaching experience, I have also done a teaching internship at the Muziekschool in Amstelveen during my studies, which gave me a lot of experience working with all levels of playing.

In my lessons I always go first for the student's aim, what suits him/her the best and always serving the music.
And of course having fun and pleasure in music making!

The drumset is one of the most important and powerful instruments in a music ensemble. It does not only provide the rhythm and groove foundation for all the other instruments - it also defines the sound of the band, the character of the songs, the volume... just like an orchestra conductor.

In these lessons (which are of course personalized and open depending on the interests of the student) we will work beyond the physical/mechanical aspect of the drums (technique, coordination, etc) into the musical aspect, so we will spend some time listening and analyzing music together, working on ear training and music theory from a practical point of view.

I am Antonio, a Spanish pianist who currently studies in Amsterdam. I have been playing the piano since I was six, and I am passionate for piano and music. I would love to share my knowledge to either a beginner or intermediate student. I am flexible for times and location, but we discuss this later.
