Más de 10 años dedicada a la formación de jóvenes talentos en ajedrez, impulsando el desarrollo de sus habilidades estratégicas.

Desde los 6 años empecé a jugar ajedrez, logrando ser campeona pioneril de Cuba y obteniendo diversas medallas en las categorías sub 12 y escolares. Fui varias veces finalista del campeonato femenino de Cuba, lo que me permitió acumular experiencia a nivel competitivo. Además, he dedicado alrededor de 10 años a entrenar a jóvenes ajedrecistas, compartiendo mi pasión por este deporte y ayudando a otros a desarrollar sus habilidades.

Hola mi nombre es Gabriel Soy el entrenador en jefe del equipo de ajedrez de la Universidad Nacional de México (UNAM) desde 2010. Hablo inglés fluido, ya que viví seis años en Oxford, Inglaterra, cuando era un niño y lo practico desde entonces.

Con el equipo de la UNAM obtuve los siguientes títulos:

I have over 30 years of experience playing chess. I am a Latvian Candidate Master with an international FIDE rating of 2059 and an English Chess Federation rating of 2120, and an online rating of 2400, reflecting a strong competitive level. I particularly excel in blitz and rapid formats. My greatest competitive achievement is winning 1st place at the English Open Women & Girls Rapid Championship in 2019.
