I have been a French tutor for more than 2 years to students with all levels. I adapt to my student(s) objectives and personalize my lessons to their goals and interests. For example, I have had students take lessons because they want to visit a French speaking country, want to study for exams or to make their conversations sound more like a native speaker. Prior to each lesson, I prepare documents and exercises. I can teach grammar, vocabulary and reading but I mainly focus on conversational skills by making my classes interactive. My goal is that you learn French from a native and not from a classroom! If the student wants, I can also assign homework after each lesson. I remain available for any question you may have! A bientôt :) Nina

Japanese is a fascinating and complex language that opens doors to a rich cultural heritage and exciting opportunities. Even as a native speaker, I find that the more I learn, the deeper my love for the language grows. Born and raised in Kyushu, the southern part of Japan, I've spent the last five years traveling around the world. This unique experience has given me invaluable insights into Japanese culture from both an insider's and an outsider's perspective. Whether you're planning a trip to Japan, aiming to enhance your career prospects, or simply exploring a new interest, this course is designed to provide you with the skills and confidence to communicate effectively in Japanese.

As a French art history student in the Netherlands, I offer courses in the disciplines I specialize in: French and art history. I have completed my academic career as I am in M2 this year! Thanks to my literary background I am used to teaching French to all levels and ages: beginners or advanced! During our lessons we will discuss grammar and vocabulary as well as French culture. That's why I also offer art history classes (in French or English): we can either focus on learning about the art of a specific period or combine learning French and art history by doing art history classes in French on French art! It's a very fun way to learn this language that can sometimes be scary. Do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested!

To meet the socio-political challenges of our globalized 21st-century, you need two things: a) critical thinking and communication in English; c) general 'cultural awareness' of the world's competing ideologies. I will lead you to master both of these essential domains simultaneously, using expertise I have gained in England, Czechia, Peru, and Holland. In our first session, we will draw up a tailor-made curriculum for your current goals and interests. For instance, I can quickly clear up the basic context for a difficult language & literature class you are taking. I can teach you the writing and analysis skills needed to excel at top universities in the Humanities or Political Science. And I can help you communicate well with international work partners from Eastern Europe, the Islamic World, or the Americas. Whatever obstacles you're facing, at any stage of your path as a global thinker and citizen, we will tackle them.

I am an Italian native speaker with a bachelor in Italian Literature and Linguistics. In Italy, I usually teach English to high school students, or adults who want to improve their skills with this language. Usually, I tend to use a non-academic approach, by focusing on the student's interests and make him/her applying the language to their everyday life, instead of simply learning the grammar rules by heart. In my opinion, learning a new language should be fun and easy, nothing too stressful. What you will get from is a new positive and funny way to learn a foreign language such as Italian or English.
