Understanding human body proportions, color theory, and how to accurately represent textile textures are tools that greatly simplify the creative process when planning your designs.

Fashion design encompasses everything from the initial concept to its execution in fabric. In this course, we will review the entire process, from the initial planning stages, including research into references, silhouettes, and so on, to the details of garment construction: pattern making, basic alterations, fabric selection and sewing techniques, as well as sewing on trims (zippers, buttons, etc.). Ideal for people who want to learn to sew their own clothes, the course can focus on the more technical aspects (pattern making and sewing) if desired.
