Hello! My name is Heegyoung, and I am an animation character designer and painter in Munich. -Do you want to elevate your character drawing skill? I have had the experience of teaching students who want to get into art colleges for 1 year. I have work experience as a character designer for 5 years and worked as an art director. My lesson usually precedes providing feedback on your work and sticking to the part that would be nice to develop. However, the curriculum could differ depending on what you want to learn and get. I'm versatile in many different art styles. If there is something further you would like to learn, I will be glad to look into it, and we can develop your skills together. I am a professional visual artist with more than 30 years of experience exhibiting, researching and developing my practice internationally. I offer individual art lessons and mentoring for students of different ages and levels, from beginners who want to learn how to draw or paint to more experienced artists who want to develop a stronger and more personal body of work. Lessons are adapted to each student. We can work with observational drawing, painting, composition, materials and technique, but also with ideas, references, art history, sketchbooks and the development of your own visual language. I also work with students preparing portfolios and applications for art schools, universities, residencies and other professional opportunities, as well as artists who feel stuck and want to rethink or strengthen their creative practice. My aim is not simply to teach you how to reproduce an image, but to help you understand what you want to make, why you want to make it, and how to develop the skills and references necessary to make it your own. Classes are available in English or Portuguese and are shaped around your interests, experience and goals.
