The top of the day to you, my dear reader! My name is Lidiia. I am a Ukrainian native. It goes without saying, I speak it fluently and can teach you this lovely language. In addition, I have a good command of Russian, though because of the latest situation in my country I do not feel like speaking it as this is the languege of those barbarians who are killing my people and turning my beautiful country into a desert. Most of all I adore English( language, culture, traditions, songs, literature etc.) For about 25 years I have been teaching English to people of different ages for specific purposes. I'm a very friendly, patient and responsible teacher. My approach is a mix of theory, practice, conversations, exercises, dialogues, listening, watching..The communicative approach is the cornerstone of my teaching style but I also like making accent on pronunciation and proper writing skills acquisition. My goal is to help you learn a foreign language, or to improve your skills: each learner is guaranteed to have a personalized course, adapted to their needs (work, tourism, leisure, etc.) and always at their own pace of learning. What are these lessons like? ▪They can be grammar focused with lots of drilling exercises (that you do at home) and lots of speaking/grammar games that we do together during the lessons; ▪They can be the lessons that help you improve your speaking and listening skills. You just need to watch some videos and revise the words! During the lesson we discuss these videos and work on your pronunciation & vocabulary. ▪They can include reading and writing activities where we talk about what you read on the Internet or in the news! You choose how YOU want to learn and I help you in the most suitable way or I offer you the way that will work for YOU!
