Ik ben Ana Marquez (23 jaar), violist en muziekleraar uit Spanje gevestigd in Nederland, afgelopen mei heb ik mijn studie afgerond aan het HKU Utrechts Conservatorium.

Ik begon mijn muzikale opleiding op 6 jarige leeftijd in Málaga, mijn geboorteplaats. Ik volgde de Suzuki methode van jongs af aan, maar ik ben ook bekend met andere methoden zoals de Paul Roland methode of de Yehudi Menuhin methode. Door mijn muzikale carrière ben ik geïnspireerd en beïnvloed door vele geweldige muzikanten die me hebben begeleid en geleerd. Wat ik mijn studenten hoop te bieden, is het vermogen om hun visie en liefde voor muziek uit te breiden, hen te helpen de muziek te vinden die ze willen maken, spelen en ervaren. Een technische kant wordt uitgewerkt maar ook een creatieve, uitvoerende en muzikale behandeling zal in mijn lessen aanwezig zijn. Van klassiek tot jazz.

Mijn doel is om iedereen te laten zien hoe mooi muziek kan zijn. En pret!

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish.

Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels.

I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing.
In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!!

My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for.

The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you!

I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato.

I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching.

Laten we samen de muziek van de baroktijd verkennen! Maak kennis met de viool en de altviool in hun barokke setting - experimenteer met functies zoals darmsnaren en historische strijkstokken. De lessen worden aangepast aan jouw wensen en behoeften: een beginner zal andere doelen hebben dan een ervaren speler. Er is een schat aan materiaal voor alle niveaus en interesses, laten we samen kijken wat het beste voor jou is!
De kern van de les is altijd de expressie van muziek! We zullen werken door middel van bouwtechniek, theoretische kennis verwerven en leren over de historische context. En als dat allemaal een beetje serieus klinkt, laten we niet vergeten dat de beste manier om te leren speelsheid en een wil om te experimenteren is!

Mijn lessen zijn gebaseerd op plezier, geduld en aandachtig luisteren. Ik stem elke les af op de persoonlijke doelen en interesses van de leerling – of dat nu klassieke werken, volksmuziek of improvisatie is.
