MY LESSONS: Learning Estonian can be quite hard on your own or in a group. As a native speaker, I can help you become fluent in Estonian by mostly practicing conversation and pronunciation. I also help with other aspects of language learning, like writing, reading, and listening. Sometimes I help with Harno exam preparations as well. I tend to work with a maximum of two students at once, so couples, friends, and family members are welcome to have the lesson together. We will be using English as a base language in our lesson. After that, I continued my studies at the Master's degree in translation, where I completed a 2-year program, at the moment I still have a thesis to do. I have been working as a teacher for 17 years now, the last 3 years at the Tallinn English College, where I teach Estonian language, German language, literature, research paper writing on both the national and international (IBO) curriculum. I have also worked as a translator, editor and private teacher (also online). I am correct, conscientious, flexible, reliable and diligent. I prefer to work at home.

Hello! You will learn to understand Estonian speech, make sentences, speak on different topics, learn the vocabulary you need for your work, learn grammar rules and apply them easily. I am teaching using progressive communication method, where you learn the whole phrase, not word by word. This way it is easier to remember grammar and make grammatically correct sentences.

I've been working with multi-age classrooms for more than a decade now to work with children with communication disorders and several more experiences with other children in public and private settings to teach in Estonian, English, and French. I use American curriculum and study materials in English and studies are integrated across disciplines that include geography, biology, history, language, mathematics, science, music, and other forms of artistic expression. I also have a great collection of British picture books that I use quite often and 3D wooden study materials. In my after-school sessions, children engage in their learning by thinking, discussing, investigating, and creating.
