Hi there! I'm a professional, award-winning guitarist with over 18 years of experience playing Jazz, Blues, Funk, Pop, and Finger-style. I have worked internationally as a bandleader, accompanist, and solo performer.

My approach to teaching is very pragmatic, time-efficient, and fun and I prefer not to overwhelm students with too much information or technical exercises. I believe that the number one priority both in playing and teaching music should be enjoyment, and that's why I tailor each lesson to the uniqueness of each student, making sure that we are learning about things that YOU want to learn about and moving towards YOUR unique goals.

My teaching is also informed by years of research into areas such as neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and meditation. This background has allowed me to develop a truly holistic approach to music, one which promises not only faster improvement, but also greater musical EASE, ENJOYMENT, and CREATIVITY.

About Me

I am a jazz guitarist, music producer, and writer. I believe that the best approach to music is a holistic approach, by which I mean an approach that is focused on integrating the brain, body, and spirit of the musician. To this end, I am constantly doing research in areas such as neuroscience, philosophy, physiology, and meditation, and am also working on a book entitled "The Meta-Musician" which will be published in 2022. I strongly believe that by applying this knowledge to music we can not only improve at a much faster rate but also unlock the dormant inspiration within us.

I know what it means to feel like an eternal beginner. You learn new songs but you struggle each time there’s a new chord or a different strumming pattern. You would like to improve faster and you are not really sure if you are learning right.

Although you are playing, you don’t get the results that you want. This was the exact same thing that happened to me many years ago. I was playing but I didn’t really have a clear understanding of what I was doing.

It took me a while to understand that I had to invest in a high-quality teacher, not only someone who could play but also someone who had a background in teaching.

Hello! my name is Sarah. I have a certificate in Classical Piano Performance. I have years of experience in teaching music in different languages (Arabic, English, German and French).
In 2020 I finished my master's in Music Therapy in Germany.
