It is nice to meet you/Hauska tutustua :D Are you interested in learning Finnish? Known to be the most difficult language to learn. Well, I assure you that it is a fantastic idea, and learning Finnish is awesome.

I have been learning Finnish for 5 years at University. I enjoy learning and teaching Finnish, and I would like to share the delight with you. Let's get started together! I have the know-how of fun ways to begin and a great understanding of grammar. We will learn how to introduce ourselves, vocabulary, grammar, food, and other important things.

My home country is Australia. I left three years ago after studying for an amazing degree in Biology. I travelled to Europe making my dream of studying fine art come true. Now I study full time and am a professional artist.
Learning Finnish is one of my greatest passions and delights that I wish to share.

I'm a dedicated, creative and dynamic Spanish teacher and graduate translator from Madrid, Spain, with 7 years of experience in the linguistic sector. I'm currently studying a Master's in English Studies at the University of Helsinki, where I'm also a teacher's assistant for Spanish classes at the Kielikeskus.
Using textbooks or custom-made materials, we can work on reinforcing your grammar, vocabulary and conversation skills, or I can help you prepare for specific language certificates. All levels welcome!

I teach Finnish by having a conversation and by reading texts together. You can choose which areas you are interested in, and I'll find texts that might be interesting for you. I can also teach Finnish basics by going through simple words and expressions, and by using a text book. Grammar comes along, and I'll explain why certain word forms are used as they come up in the texts or in spoken language.

I have a Ph.D in Political science from the University of Helsinki and have been teaching Finnish in various language tandems for years.

First, I would like to get to know you better: what is your starting point with Spanish, and what would you like to achieve? Based on that, we can start planning.

I can offer lessons that focus more on conversation games, or we can combine them with grammar and writing exercises, depending on what you prefer.
