Hi, I’m Hugh – a qualified and experienced musician with a Bachelor’s Degree and Honours in Music Performance and Production from The London Centre of Contemporary Music. With over ten years of experience as a guitarist and vocalist, I’ve had the privilege of performing across the UK in several touring bands. My musical journey has seen me perform in genres ranging from funk, indie, to rock.

As an enthusiastic and passionate teacher, I enjoy working with both children and adults to help them reach their musical goals. I understand that every musician is unique, so I always tailor my lessons to suit the individual needs of my students, ensuring that learning is both engaging and fun.

Vocal Training: I offer lessons to help you develop your vocal range, pitch, projection, control, tone, diction, runs, and vibrato in chest, head, and combined voice.

Music Theory: Want to conquer the theory side of things? I’ll break down complex concepts so you can understand and apply them in your playing and writing.

Accelerated Learning: Learn faster and easier with tailored methodologies that boost your ability to improvise and master the guitar and vocals.

Ear Training: Hone your ability to replicate melodies, intervals, chords, and songs by ear, so you can hear and play anything you want.

Jam Sessions: We can jam together, covering songs of your choice, to gain a deeper understanding of guitar, vocals, and songwriting.

Fretboard Mastery: Learn how to break down and master the fretboard. Understand triads, seventh chords, and scales in all positions for better improvisation and composition.
