Hi dear Clarinetists,

I'm a young clarinetist who participates in International Competitions all over the world as well as I'm the academist of BELGIAN NATIONAL ORCHESTRA and LA MONNAIE DE MUNT.
Playing music, especially the clarinet really changed my life. It's an amazing feeling when I create my music and that's the goal I would like to achieve with the students, inspire them. My own teaching method is based on being full of energy, and passion and adjusting my knowledge in every situation!

I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons.

I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical.

J'enseigne à des étudiants de tous âges et de tous niveaux. Dans mes cours, j'aide les élèves à trouver un bon contact avec l'instrument. Je propose une pédagogie individualisée, mon objectif est d'initier l'élève et de le faire progresser dans la musique, en apprenant diverses techniques qui l'aideront dans son avenir musical. My teaching method is adaptable according to the level of the student (beginner or more advanced). The lessons are dynamic and work on three aspects: technique, interpretation and musicality. But above all, the pleasure of learning to play a beautiful instrument like the clarinet.

My name is Hoviv, I am 32 years old and I am a clarinetist, pianist, orchestra and choir conductor. I offer clarinet lessons for all levels, from beginners to preparation for entrance exams to the conservatory or support at the academy. The practice of the instrument is at the heart of my teaching, so I try to help students understand and deal with the different issues related to the instrument by letting them play as much as possible. There are different ways to achieve this, such as duets with piano (I can accompany the student), two clarinets with other students or with me or other instrumentalists, but the main thing is to have fun playing. I constantly adapt to the requests and needs of the students with whom I always build good relationships.
My teaching is based on listening, sharing and developing a passion for music in general.

My teaching experience has ranged from children or adults starting from zero with the instrument to students with a medium-professional level. I specialise in clarinet, although I also teach piano at beginners' level and theoretical subjects, from music theory to harmony, analysis and music history.

My methodology is based on adapting to the student, following different teaching strategies appropriate to each level and age. From playful methodologies with younger children, to specific methods with older students. I believe that adapting to the situation is always more important than following a rigid methodology.

I have been playing the clarinet for over 30 years, having earned a professional degree from the conservatory in my hometown of San Sebastián, Spain.
