My name is Giustina,
I am an Italian native speaker based in Amsterdam with a strong interest in psychology, culture and science.

Over my career I had many students: my method is inspired to have fun while learning. I think this can be achieved by using power-point presentations, videos, conversation about topics you are more interested in. We can talk beforehand about what you expect and what are your goals and accordingly make your personal learning timeline.

My education
I studied Latin, Greek and Italian literature in high school.
Afterwords I moved to science and I specialized in Medical Biotechnology and Oncology. I have a PhD in Biochemistry.
I am now attending Psychology at VU University and improving my writing skills.

I have a degree in languages, I am certified in international law and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new languages!

Hello, I would like to propose help you learning and progressing in French. I trust the best is to equally work on listening, reading and speaking but we can also focus on one aspect if you need to. I love to teach my native tongue in a fun way !

Who? I am a twenty-eight-year-old French and U.S. Anthropology student. I am trained in FLE (French as a Second Language) and have worked for the National French Education Ministry as a Middle School Teacher on the beautiful island of Mayotte. Following that exotic experience, I decided to change course and study Anthropology all the while teaching French as a Second Language on a freelance basis. I moved to the Netherlands just recently and have decided to continue practicing as a French tutor. I have also tutored English classes in France for five years.

What? I offer French or FLE (French as a Second Language) courses based on multiple sources and I regularly renew them because it is important to be in adequacy with today's society. As I just started learning Dutch, I teach in English all the while aiming for 90% French during the class.

Where? Normally I go to the learner's home. For the moment, online courses are also popular.

When? I work every day of the week.

French language is very beautiful but also complicated, I am almost graduated philologist in French language. When I decided to study this French was a subject I was never good at and even hated. Until I decided to study and saw it as a challenge, I learned a lot in my studies and also lived and studied in France for 5-6 months.

Learning Italian is not just about learning a language, it’s understanding a world, a culture, a way of doing but most of all, we will make a travel thru literature, cinema, fine arts.

I have been teaching for 5 years, I have been working in a big library for children, I studied philosophy and I am truly passionated by languages and education.

I hold a PhD degree in French Literature from Sorbonne University and I've been teaching French and English since 2013. During my class, you will learn how to communicate effectively - and in order to speak, you'll need to practice! I have a passion for French culture, literature, music, film and theatre, and I believe that it's through culture and experiencing the language directly in everyday life that you really immerse yourself in a language. I train also for exams and DELF/DALF. Apart from this, I work as a tour guide specialised in French medieval architecture and a week-end trip to Paris (sightseeing included!) can be planned during the course to immerse in French language, cinema, food and beautiful Parisian museums.

Practicing French in French boulangeries, restaurants and bookshops in Amsterdam can be planned as well. If you're interested in more than practicing speaking and pronunciation skills, we can alternate the grammar/writing classes (held at home) and conversation classes (held anywhere!). Moreover, I traveled a lot to get in contact with mother tongue people and to improve my language skills.
