Lessons Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions. I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around. When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun. I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation. At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing. About me Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020. I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. My experience with Johann enabled me to better and fully understand some concepts from fundamentals of Options and Futures. Johann provided me with background knowledge and in depth explanations behind theories and formulas. This allowed me to better understand how to carry out complex calculations, and apply required mathematical concepts to an exercise. In addition he successfully helped me solving Excel cases about derivatives, binomial trees, Black Scholes model and Greek calculations. I am truly satisfied from having had Johann as my tutor, through 5 engaging online meetings. I can only recommend him to you !

Fernando is an excellent teacher, I highly recommend taking his classes. He is well-structured and I enjoyed his teaching style. He clearly identifies your most recurring mistakes and helps you progressively get rid of them. Classes are very varied (reading, listening, speaking, ...) and he is very flexible so as to focus on the aspects you want to improve most. I made a lot of progress and got more confident speaking in Portuguese. What made his classes the most enjoyable is that he is a very nice person and great to talk to. As I said, highly recommend!

Edith is a fantastic teacher! We need to develop speaking skills of our son and she outperforms by providing a comprehensive approach including speaking supported by reading and occasionally writing practice. The lessons are interactive and funny. She feels what is needed and fine-tunes her strategy depending on what is needed to enhance her pupil's skills. We're definitely very satisfied with our choice!
