About Me

The course will be fun, and based on the interests of the student. In the form of a power point presentation or Podcast, it will incorporate anecdotes and references to popular culture to make it more accessible and fun. The course may include exercises and techniques of drawing and sculpture depending on the subject. The balance between theory and practice can be reassessed according to the wishes and needs of the student. The themes tackled will be through aesthetics (the branch of philosophy interested in art), history and practice.
I am young and still in training, but I think this can be an asset, for twenty years the art has evolved drastically and the number of artists and creators has greatly increased. My gaze comes from a generation born in the abundance of images and information, in my opinion the generation best able to talk about contemporary problems and to echo them with the past.

I then spent 1 year at the art school in Kassel, Germany, where I made a second solo exhibition and participated in several film / video festivals. Since September 2019, I am a Master 2 student at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon, where I was able to participate in two group exhibitions. I master drawing and sculpture.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)

This course is for motivated students aiming for TU / FH / Akademie - Bachelor Degree, in Vienna.

I have been working as an actress and educator since 2012, and since 2015 I have devoted myself to the study and practice of Butoh dance and physical theatre. My journey in this field began at LUME Teatro, a renowned theatre group with over 40 years of history, where I studied and practised the methodology developed by Luís Otávio Burnier.
In 2015, Butoh entered my life and profoundly transformed my understanding of art and existence. Through the work of Kazuo Ohno and Tatsumi Hijikata, I encountered the depth and expressive power of Butoh not only as an artistic language, but also as a way of life. Over time, what began as research has become a guiding philosophy, shaping how I perceive movement, presence, expression, and the human experience.
Butoh is a Japanese dance form that emerged in the 1950s. It is a practice that works from the inside out, functioning as an active meditation and a process of self-knowledge. In Butoh, the body becomes an instrument of poetry, subjectivity, and transformation, inviting a deep immersion into one’s inner landscape.
Within Butoh, there is the concept of ma, the space in between, referring to invisible and empty spaces where matter cannot be seen, yet which are filled with life and presence. This understanding resonates with aspects of Buddhist philosophy, offering a sensitive invitation to experience oneself, the surrounding space, nature, and life with greater awareness and openness.
