I am a physicist and PhD researcher at the University of Geneva, with several years of experience teaching physics at university level and providing private tutoring in physics, mathematics and chemistry. My academic background includes degrees in Physics and Solid-State Physics, as well as a background in Industrial Chemistry. This allows me to teach science subjects from secondary-school level up to university courses, while adapting the level of explanation to each student. I first identify where the difficulty comes from, then rebuild the relevant concepts step by step before applying them to exercises and exam-style problems. Because I also teach university students, I place particular emphasis on developing a clear method: how to interpret a problem, identify the relevant physical principles, organize a calculation and check whether the final result makes sense. Lessons can be adapted either for students who are struggling and need to rebuild their foundations, or for stronger students preparing for demanding exams and advanced courses. I teach in English, French and Italian. Online lessons and in-person lessons in the Geneva area are available.

I am resident of Founex and I work as a PhD researcher in Astrophysics at the Geneva Observatory in Versoix. I have 2 years of teaching experience in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Leeds, UK along with 1 year of private tutoring in Chemistry. To get a firm grasp on a difficult topic, I believe it is essential to start with the basics and then to work towards the core of the problem. A curriculum focused on independent thinking and steady practise will be taught to the student. Whether the goal is to prepare for an exam or homework; lessons will be altered to match the individual's needs. Mock Test/Exams will be conducted at regular intervals. I hope to share my excitement and passion for natural sciences and mathematics with the students in an open and 'there is no such thing as a difficult problem' way!
