Bilingual Montessori teacher (FR/ENG) offers schooling support sessions (individual lessons or in small groups) for children aged 3 to 12, whether in school or not. These workshops are aimed at children in different situations: • Children who cannot attend school • School failure or phobia • Children with disabilities • Difficulties in fundamental learning (oral and written expression, reading, calculation, etc.) • Difficulty concentrating, ADHD or DYS disorders (dyslexia, dysorthography, dysphasia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia) • HP, zebra and hypersensitive children • Children on the autism spectrum (ASD) Different areas of work are possible: 1. Resume the academic basics in mathematics, reading, writing 2. Setting up an individual project for each child 3. Possibility of doing lessons in the forest and on educational farms, biology, zoology and botany – (particularly suitable for children with so-called concrete intelligence, that is to say who need to manipulate and observe before 'appropriate knowledge and apply it). 4. Expressive arts workshops for therapeutic purposes (painting, drawing, modeling, singing and musical awakening) 5. Mindfulness meditation and yoga session 6. Possibility of organizing half-days of riding or therapy with the horse in collaboration with the Pony Club of Plan-les-Ouates (Geneva) or at Les Ecuries du Manoir (Présilly). The workshops aim to enable children to regain their self-confidence and become aware of their skills and potential. The workshops help with autonomy and rediscover the pleasure of learning. Each session lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours depending on needs and objectives. Possibility of doing full days if necessary. I receive guests in Geneva and Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, at my workshop, at my home, at your home. The first meeting makes it possible to clarify the reasons for the consultation, to establish the areas of work and to guide the choice of activities offered to the child during the sessions in order to establish learning objectives.

Trusted teacher: About my service I provide coaching for students in the area of science and mathematics. The lessons are designed to enable students to improve their understanding of the school subjects and thus their grades. The target audience are students from primary school up to high school. The lesson is usually roughly structured in three parts: - Together with the student I go over the homework, or the work that was done during the last questions are answered and facts explained. - The learned concepts are applied repeatedly to problems and exercises to fortify the understanding and help the student become more at ease with applying them. - If the time and the situations allows it, the student is prepared for his next lesson at school so that he or she will be able to follow it better. In addition to the subject matter I try to teach how to learn, which is a skill that is sadly not often taught at school. This includes, amongst others, how to organize, how to take notes, how to memorize facts and formulas and how to prepare for exams. This provides a longer lasting benefit for the student. I am also comfortable with students and pupils with rather severe difficulties such as dyscalculus (basically dyslexia for maths) and fear of school or aggravated lack of motivation. With these students I make sure to take my time, without putting them under pressure, and explain facts in simple words until they are certain to have understood them. As I am equally fluent in English, German and French, the lessons can take place in any of those languages. My experience I have around 10 years of experience giving private lessons. My youngest student was 6 years old, my oldest 47. Over the years I was able to help well over 1oo students improve their grades. At first I started giving lessons to single students but then moved on to also teach groups of up to 8 students. I am quite familiar with the syllabus of the "Ecole Internationale" here in Geneva (both Grande-Boissière and Nations) as I have had many students from there.

Trusted teacher: My method: Logic before calculation In the final year of high school, the difficulty is often not the calculation itself, but understanding the problem statement and choosing the correct theorem. My support focuses on three key areas: Analysis: Perfect mastery of sequences, functions (logarithms, exponentials) and continuity. Geometry in space: Visualization and vector calculation. Probability: Understanding the laws and knowing when to apply them. We will delve particularly into the 4 Pillars of Success in the Baccalaureate (Final Year Program) For each session, we will work on the priority themes of the French curriculum: Analysis & Algebra: Mastery of functions (Exponentials, Logarithms), limits, and integral calculus. Particular focus is placed on numerical sequences and proof by induction. Geometry in Space: Learning to "see" in 3 dimensions and mastering parametric representations and the dot product. Probability & Statistics: Understanding binomial distributions and density to avoid interpretation errors. Specialty "Expert Maths" (Optional): For those aiming for preparatory classes, we delve deeper into complex numbers, arithmetic and matrices. Session content: Demonstration techniques: Knowing how to write a recurrence or a proof by contradiction without losing points for rigor. Automation: Calculation of complex derivatives, antiderivatives and limits to gain speed on the day. Analysis of typical Baccalaureate exam topics: We break down the topics that came up in 2024 and 2025 to anticipate the expectations of examiners in June 2026. For who ? First-year students: To consolidate the basics before the decisive year. Final year students (Maths specialization): Intensive preparation for written exams. Complementary / Expert Maths: Advanced training for future Parcoursup applications (CPGE, Engineering Schools). 🛠️ Tools for online courses Shared Word document: You can see me writing the live demonstrations, and you can write in turn. Paper correction: You send me your homework assignments done in class, we analyze your mistakes together so that you don't repeat them.

Julien helped me learn the material for my university statistics exams. He was very patient and gave very clear explanations about the concepts we were discussing. He was friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging. He prepared material in advance for each lesson depending on my personal needs. I'm pleased to say he helped me succeed in my final exams despite the fact that I'd never really studied statistics before! I am very glad I chose him as my tutor and I recommend him to anyone else seeking mathematics or statistics tutoring, whether in person or remotely.

I couldn’t ask for a better tutor for my daughter! Baia is incredibly knowledgeable in math and algorithms, but what I truly think it sets her apart is her patience, kindness, and ability to make complex concepts easy to understand. She is always well-prepared and adapts her teaching style to fit my daughter’s needs, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable. My daughter has gained so much confidence in her skills thanks to Baia’s guidance. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding tutor!

So far, I've been getting help with my IGCSE 's in Math and Computer Science with Amin. In most of the lessons I've been with him, he's been really helpful and responsible. He has also been very patient. He helps me become more confident in my answers and makes the lessons pretty fun! After my lessons with him, I do understand my topics more and am able to go to my classes in school without feeling lost. If you're ever struggling with Physics or Programming, I'm sure he can help you too :)
