I struggled and struggled in my younger years in maths, when all of a sudden, I understood how to study it and went on to achieve a bachelors in mathematics. I'm half Japanese and English but was raised in Malaysia, thereby, I have seen pupils of every level of mathematics. From students that need a little helping hand to get from a B grade to an A, to students that have fallen so far behind they don't know where to start. I've been in both situations and I can teach you a way that will make maths, your best subject.

The biggest issue I've seen in school is that teachers expect you to learn what they write on the board with no knowledge of what it means or where it comes from. It is sometimes so simple and easy for a teacher to go the extra mile to be able to relate the topic more.
