Cello Lessons at All Levels, Adapted to the Student's NeedsMy teaching method is carefully tailored to the specific needs of each student, regardless of the subject we are working on (music theory, cello, music history, analysis, conducting, etc.). The pace of learning is always set by the student, ensuring that each lesson aligns realistically with their goals and interests.
Whether you're looking for a more flexible, amateur approach — open to personal interests — or a more structured plan aimed at exams, auditions, or academic improvement, I design a personalized learning path for each case.
My approach is rooted in a highly practical vision of learning, inspired by the educational model in which I was trained during my master’s degrees in Conducting (Antwerp) and Historical Cello (Brussels). I view teaching as a dynamic process, where deep understanding takes precedence over rote memorization.

(Online) Mathematics Tutoring for High School StudentsHigh School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material.
The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. The topics, content, pace and methods of learning will be adjusted to your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of my lessons. Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
-Linear Algebra
-Calculus
-Trigonometry
-Geometry
-Set Theory
-Analysis
If you have another topic in mind that you really need help with, just send me a message!
Whether you need someone that explains the concepts to you or just someone to practice exercises with - I am sure I can help you. You have an exam soon and want to review the main topics? No problem! You have a very specific problem, question or topic that you need help with? I'm here to answer any questions! You need help with preparing for your A-levels/High School diploma? Don't fret, I will guide and prepare you!
The most important part of my lessons is, however, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment - I have no issue with explaining the same concept over and over again until I am convinced that you have understood it. It is important to me that you feel comfortable in asking any questions - I want to show you, that Math is more than a subject and that it can be fun!

Spanish online lessons with native spanish teacher for adults and teenagersI am a native Spanish speaker and a general language enthusiast. In addition to Spanish, I speak German and English. I am 100% confident that I will successfully teach you Spanish (while having fun and relaxing)!
I've been teaching spanish for 15 years. I am 41 years old, graduated with honors from the University of Salamanca. My main goal in teaching is to make students feel relaxed and comfortable while studying.
Do you already know Spanish? No problem! Rather than building the basics, we can design courses to suit your personal needs and preferences. We can write essays together, you can give presentations on topics that interest you or that I present to you, we can discuss current events, engage in debates, you can write summaries of newspaper articles, or we can delve into advanced grammar. Whatever you enjoy and need, we can do it together.
All my courses combine speaking, listening and grammar practice in interaction with me. Unless you are a very advanced student, we work with learning materials created by some of the best language learning publishers in Germany. These materials serve as a common thread for our course, introducing new words, grammar and exercises at a good pace and in an interesting way, keeping you engaged and motivated. I also show you German food, music and places. In addition, I will introduce you to the best technological tools (homepages and applications) to boost your language learning and take it to the next level.
Another important factor for me is the personal connection. We usually start our lessons with how the weekend or previous weekdays were like.
Contact me now to arrange a first lesson in which we can get to know each other so that I can learn more about you, your needs and desires and thus design the optimal course for you.

Learn and talk Spanish with me "Aprende y habla español conmigo". Private or group classes.Learn and talk Spanish with me "Aprende y habla español conmigo". Private or group classes. Lessons in the region of Maastricht. Online classes are of course possible.
The most important thing for me to begin with is to know the purpose and level of the student. After that we choose a teaching method together.
I learn all the skills in different ways (games, videos, books...) The lesson never gets boring. We speak Spanish or Dutch from day one. "Si hablas a una persona en una lengua que entiende, las palabras irán a su cabeza. Si le hablas en su propia lengua, las palabras irán a su corazón" - Nelson Mandela.
The classes are intended for children or adults who want to learn Spanish as a second or foreign language (from level 0 to C1).

Cello lessons from Bach to jazz to improvisationWhat is important to me in class?
Students and teachers should meet at eye level. It's important to me to create an atmosphere in which both feel comfortable and no one feels forced to do anything.
Where do I come from musically?
It has always been important to me to exploit all the possibilities that my instrument can offer. To be honest, I'm not finished yet, the cello has so many facets to discover! I've tried many different styles. I am currently studying a master's degree in contemporary music at the Basel University of Music. I completed my bachelor's degree in education in Freiburg. This gives me a good basis for teaching the instrument in a playful way and for eliciting creativity from the students.
Can you also find me on stage?
Yes, mostly with my indie-pop band. We write our own songs, and I'm usually responsible for a good bassline :)
But also with Percaso String Quartet, with whom we only play string quartet works by women.
Or in Ensemble IPSO, a music theater project in which we try to blend the boundaries between music, theater and dance.
And always with solo performances at vernissages.
I have a solidarity pricing system, meaning you give me whatever you can around the stated amount. If this applies to you, feel free to write.
Lessons at the student’s home and preferably in Riehen.
