Education

In 2003, I completed my studies at Tver State University with a master's degree in Teaching Russian Language. Since 2009, I've been working as a tutor, helping people who speak English to learn the Russian language.

In addition, in 2026, I completed a six-month course titled "Russian as a Foreign Language and Methods of Teaching It" at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in Moscow.

I teach students (over 15 years old) and adults.

Experience / Qualifications

I have been teaching Russian as a foreign language since 2009 and have worked with hundreds of students from different countries and backgrounds. I teach learners of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students, and help them develop their speaking, grammar, listening, reading, and writing skills.

I hold a Master's degree in Education from Tver State University. In 2026, I also completed a six-month professional development course in Russian as a Foreign Language and its teaching methodology at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in Moscow.

My experience includes teaching general Russian, conversational Russian, Russian for travel and family communication, and preparing students for TRKI examinations. I create structured individual learning plans based on each student's current level, goals, learning pace, and specific difficulties.

I use professional teaching methods together with original digital materials, audio and video resources, practical exercises, and regular revision. My goal is not simply to explain grammar rules, but to help students understand the Russian language system and use it confidently in real communication.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.
