During our initial session, we will discuss your goals and targets, for the division of clear strategies in helping you reach your academic targets. We will also identify the exam board you are preparing for, and devise a plan on achieving your target grade, to realistically strive to achieve both your short-term and long-term goals. We will use SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound mutually agreed objectives. It is my personal mission to give you the guidance that you need, helping you to develop your skills as an independent learner to make the best of your learning experience. My role is to support and facilitate your learning so that you are heading in the right direction to achieve academic success. Through open communication and working collaboratively, lessons will be individually tailored to meet your needs; to help maximise confidence in your own abilities, gain academic independence and reach your potential.

I specialise in tutoring french, italian and english literature and language to students of all ages, in particular those preparing for their GCSE examinations. I build a rapport quickly with students and help them every step of the way, from basic skills to advanced exam preparation. Last year, I took on an english literature student who got 2 Bs for english in his mock examinations, and with my help he got 2 A*s in the real thing. I have a reference from this person's parent if needed. I assign homework every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.
