Lisa - Lucerne52Fr
Trusted teacher: ''Once upon a time there was a breath. Lighter than a whisper, it melted into the wind, lamenting that it was never heard...'' But before continuing this story, a little introduction is in order. 🙋🏻‍♀️ | Hi ! I'm Lisa and I study clarinet at the Lucerne University of Music. 🎶 | But beyond the pleasure of playing on stage, alone or in a group, I love to make my passion known and allow other people to become familiar with my instrument. 👩🏻‍🏫 | For a few years, I have been teaching the clarinet online and at the music school of Crans-Montana. But back to the story. “...One day, he heard in the distance the chords of a guitar accompanying a joyful and magical song. From that day on, the little breath decided to become music. So he let himself be carried away by the wind, which deposited him next to a clarinet. Curious, the breath slipped into the mouthpiece and slid down to the pavilion. It was fun, a bit like a slide...'' But what is a clarinet? Let's take a short break in history to clear up this point. 📖 | The clarinet is a wind instrument of the woodwind family. It is made of ebony and has 18 keys that allow the musician to play all the notes. 🎤 | It is the instrument closest to the human voice. Indeed, it can sound very loud or very soft, very high or very low and has a wide variety of sounds. 🌬 | To make a sound with his clarinet, the musician blows into the mouthpiece and vibrates the reed. A bit like when you make a blade of grass hiss by blowing on it. Let's see how our breath is doing. “... He then gathered all his strength and blew a big blow into the beak. Nope ! It didn't seem like the right method. He then tried to tap on the reed and slipped through the holes and the keys. Until, finally, the breath becomes a melody...'' Turn your breath into music too! 🎺 | Playing a musical instrument will allow you to express your creativity and relax while developing your brain. Plus, seeing your progress will make you proud and gain self-confidence. 💡 | The clarinet is a practical instrument. Indeed, it disassembles into 5 parts that you can store in a small box and take with you everywhere! 🇨🇭 | In Switzerland, there are many harmonies and other ensembles where the clarinet has a prominent place. You will therefore be able, as soon as you have mastered the basics, to meet lots of new people with whom to share your passion. Let's finish the story. “…Other breaths, strings and beats, impressed by the beauty of the melody, found himself a musical instrument too. This is how the 1st orchestra was born! I am available on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in Valais and during the week in Lucerne. Do not hesitate to contact me for more information ☀️

Jiaqi - Lucerne67Fr
Trusted teacher: 你好!Grüezi!Hola!Hello! I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher. I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner. In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of game-playing, story-reading, song-singing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun. The predominant features you will find in my class are the tailored-made teaching materials and methods that are customized for your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.). As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. Being in the shoes of a linguistics student for years also enables me to better instruct you, as I understand very well what are the things a learner would find helpful. I welcome students of all age groups and prior proficiency levels. Looking forward to sharing my knowledge of Chinese language and culture with you:)

Jiaqi
Jiaqi has adopted her teaching approach to the age 5 and 6 of our sons and created a tailer-made sessions that contain crafting, drawing and game-playing that our boys love very much. While they really enjoy the sessions and the interaction is great we see the progress: our guys start teaching us Mandarin, read signs on all chinese products and show to their friends all the crafting they made together with Jiaqi. I'm happy to see that they learn Mandarin in such an organic way and highly recommend Jiaqi for any kind of learning classes with kids!
