I'd like to teach students the basics of Python, including variables, data types, loops, functions, and conditionals and build confidence in their coding skills.

Mastering English can open up numerous opportunities and enhance your ability to interact with diverse cultures. In my English classes, I'll cover the basics of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure. Students will also learn essential skills like reading comprehension, writing, and conversational English. I'd like to build confidence and proficiency in English for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Hi,
My name's Namitha and I'm an international student from India. I've always been that "teacher" friend in all my friend groups from my school time up to my university time here at Liverpool. The one they go to for last min study session to ace the exams. Its why I thought that teaching would be a fun and meaningful part time for me. I've dealt with teaching all kinds of student. I myself find that I have different learning strategies depending on the subject and kind of learner one is. Some are visual learners, some like to write down and some just wants someone to explain well (audio learners). I've dealt with them all.
After a lot of thought I decided on teaching python basics. I understand it's not easy for all. I've been learning python since 11th grade (so around 6 years now) and I know it seems tricky at first but it's easier than it seems. Once you crack the logical part, coding becomes fun. Python also has a lot of career relevance as its one of the latest programming languages that employers seek.
Python is a versatile programming language used for a variety of applications, including web development (Django, Flask), data analysis (Pandas, Matplotlib), machine learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch), web scraping (Beautiful Soup, Scrapy), automation (Selenium), networking (Requests), and game development (Pygame). Its simplicity and robust ecosystem make it a top choice for developers.
Apart from this, I also wanted to teach English Speaking or Reading. I myself am obsessed with reading (my fav authors are Amish Tripathi, Paolo Coelho, Agatha Christie, Dan Brown, Khaled Hosseini amongst others) and would like to help inculcate that habit in anyone willing or help improve your language proficiency.
My hobbies include swimming, crochet, karate (black belt), reading and travel

Education
I completed my undergraduate studies in BSc Bioinformatics at Mahatma Gandhi University from 2021 to 2024, securing 2nd Rank with a CCPA of 8.6. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Liverpool. This advanced program is expanding my knowledge and expertise, building on the solid foundation of my undergraduate studies. My academic achievements reflect my dedication and passion for the field, and I am eager to share my knowledge by teaching Python coding basics and English.
Expérience / Qualifications
I first started coding at age 17 and have been passionate about it ever since. Currently, I’m expanding my knowledge by learning more tools in Python. One of my proudest achievements is a mini project where I developed a code for an airport setting during COVID times, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I've taught python to many of my friends at school and also in uni. As an international student with an IELTS score of 7.5, I love reading and have a strong desire to help others improve their English skills. My background in coding and my enthusiasm for teaching make me well-equipped to guide others in learning Python basics and developing their English proficiency.
