As a Master’s student in medical biology, I have been playing piano and guitar for 18 years. I can explain to you the musical theory that allows you to understand a piece on which you want to improvise or to understand the idea behind the composition of a piece. I can find you the chords of any song or piece and I have examples of songs whose chords search is particularly interesting. I can teach you classical music and jazz. I use a piano that provides an automated and complete accompaniment, that is to say that we can play as with a band with a drummer and musicians of any style. This is very convenient. I also have recordings of impro funk or hip-hop patterns that are what you might call "fire" to learn to improvise with pleasure. I took classes at the school of jazz and current music for about ten years and had some bands, concerts and jams at the university. I was also a member of the Lausanne University Choir. For many years, I made self-taught classical music in parallel with jazz lessons.

Practicing the piano since the age of 4, I obtained in 2020 my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (Alsace) (equivalent to the Swiss Certificate). I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020. In parallel with my studies, I have always enjoyed sharing what I myself have the chance to continue to learn, so much so that I have been giving private piano lessons for 3 years. I believe that for the student to get the most out of his course, a great adaptability of the teacher is necessary. I therefore build my lessons according to the wishes of the student, both in the choice of the pieces he/she would like to play and in the space where the lessons take place, so that his practice of music does him good. ! It is therefore essential for me that the framework where the student practices his instrument invites him to feel confident, happy and relaxed and that the music is above all a source of pleasure, and not a constraint. My lessons include a "music theory" part, depending on your starting level, beginner or not. I come to your home if you wish, but can also receive you at my home in Pully.

You will learn to compose and record yourself, use effects and mix your songs. No specific material to start, I will bring my own equipment.

Passionné de solfège et de théorie de la musique, j'aurai plaisir à vous communiquer mon enthousiasme pour le solfège, si injustement dévalorisé, du fait de méthodes parfois brutales avec lequel il est enseigné. Au programme : - lecture de notes (clefs de sol, d'Ut, de Fa) - lecture de rythmes (noires, croches, doubles / triples / quadruples croches, triolets et autres notes pointées) - dictées de notes (entraîner son oreille prend du temps, mais lorsque les exercices sont "sur-mesure" et progressifs, vous avancez plus vite) - dictée de rythmes N'hésitez pas à me préciser le contexte de votre demande (préparation de concours, reprise d'instruments, examens ...).
