I am currently employed as an assistant violin professor at the Ljubljana Music Academy and have been working as concert master of Philharmonie Salzburg and Ljubljana Soloists for the better part of the last decade. My concert experience involves soloistic and chamber music performances at prestigious venues and festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and China. My pedagogical approach is very systematic and includes technical preparation, musical interpretation, performance practice of different styles and orchestral audition preparation. I studied violin with Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and Rainer Schmidt at the Music Academy Basel as well as baroque violin with David Plantier at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I come from Estonia and there, aside from singing studies, I worked as a teacher of music theory subjects (solfeggio, prima vista, basic theory) at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College (conservatory level) for 4 years (2018-2022) and was the head teacher of the department for music theory for 2 years (2020-2022). I also had multiple private students and offered a course to help people prepare their music theory knowledge and skills for the entrance exams to the conservatory.
