I am a piano student and give piano lessons at home. I am 22 years old and started playing the piano at the age of 4. I obtained my piano certificate at the Conservatoire Populaire de Genève, and I also have training in music theory, sight reading, and improvisation.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
Extra information
I have already given piano lessons to beginners from 4 to 12 years old, for the last three years. I particularly enjoy teaching, the contact with children, as well as their wonder for music. I am currently a student at the University of Geneva, so I am only available from 5 p.m.
If you are interested, you can write to me through Apprentus to discuss schedules, frequency, prices, or any other special request.

About Me
I just graduated from the gymnasium, but I already want to pass on my passion for music to my students. I started giving private lessons in music theory and piano more than two years ago now, and I immediately loved the contact with children, and especially their wonder, when they start to learn. I am certainly still very young, but that has never handicapped my relationship with my students, nor their learning - quite the contrary!
Apart from music, I also do theater and a lot of sport. I give ski lessons in winter, also to young people. I particularly like reading, travel and art. Later, I intend to undertake training as a physicist.
Education
Music sculpts the mind. So, starting from an early age to practice an instrument lays the foundations for a future sharp thought: you have to be methodical, attentive and tenacious to make music, but I am convinced that there is no age to start and progress.
For my younger students, I start slowly with an illustrated method (which I myself learned): it is an opportunity for them to familiarize themselves with this strange black and white keyboard, with the bass and treble sounds. , or with soft (piano) and strong (strong) nuances. I teach them some popular melodies, then, I introduce them fairly quickly to music theory, by teaching them the names of the notes, the scales, the arpeggios, the consonances, ... But I always make sure that my course remains dynamic and fun. , by avoiding an overly academic approach to music theory which could disgust them.
Experience / Qualifications
Regarding my musical course, I started playing the piano at a very young age, which I have been practicing for 15 years now. I also completed a training in rhythm and music theory, 8 years long. I then did three years of improvisation-jazz, then two years of sight reading (deciphering). Then, I learned the guitar on my own, and I now actively practice modern dance, as well as the language of music.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the position of Music Teacher. With more than twenty five years of experience in music education, performance, and artistic development, I bring a deep passion for teaching and a holistic approach to music as both a discipline and a form of personal expression.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds, supporting them in building strong technical skills while encouraging creativity, confidence, and emotional connection to music. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that music education should inspire curiosity and joy, alongside structure, discipline, and artistic integrity.

In addition to my teaching work, I am an active musician whose compositions and performances have reached an international audience through platforms such as SoundCloud. Listener feedback consistently highlights the emotional depth, originality, and atmospheric quality of my music, often describing it as expressive, cinematic, and deeply moving. This ongoing interaction with a global audience enriches my teaching, allowing me to share real-world artistic experience with my students and encourage them to develop their own authentic musical voice.

I have also contributed to collaborative artistic projects, including volunteer work composing and creating music for the Geneva theatre production Monolog 2020. This experience strengthened my ability to work in interdisciplinary environments and deepened my understanding of how music supports storytelling, stage performance, and emotional expression.

I consider creativity an essential part of both my professional and personal life. Outside of music, I enjoy painting, which further develops my sense of color, form, and expression—elements that strongly influence my musical interpretation and teaching. I am also passionate about skiing, a sport that reflects values I bring into my work: focus, discipline, perseverance, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions with confidence and calm.

Over the years, I have developed a flexible, student-centered teaching approach, adapting methods to individual learning styles and goals. My experience includes individual and group instruction, performance preparation, and long-term artistic mentoring. I value collaboration with colleagues, clear communication with students and parents, and continuous professional growth.

I would be honored to contribute my experience, creativity, and dedication to your institution. I am confident that my background as both a teacher and an active artist would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your educational environment.

Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss my experience and teaching philosophy.

Yours sincerely,
Branislava
