About Me

Hello!

I'm a Canadian pianist based in Geneva, currently a doctoral candidate at l'Université de Montréal and simultaneously pursuing a second Masters degree at La Haute École de Musique de Genève.

I'm very patient and precise in my teaching. I really enjoy sharing what I do with others and helping them overcoming obstacles so teaching others to play the piano / improve their pianistic skills a great way to do that! Having been a student my whole life (and I hope to continue learning in this way), I know how wonderful it can be when you meet someone who is open to helping you through your personal challenges based on your individual background so I really aim for that type of teaching. I'm there to help in any way I can.

As a bonus, my doctoral research pertains to the neuropsychology of learning and the most efficient way to develop a skill; my goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to become an independent learner. I have a lot of tricks from my research and own experiences which I'm more than glad to share!

I'm more than happy to help you work towards whatever goals you may have.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

PS: I'm also available as an accompanist.

Cindy is an excellent piano teacher. The fact that my son (11) is fully engaged and practices without any prompting is a testament to Cindy's professional but relaxed and fun approach to teaching. I would recommend Cindy without reservation!
