Trusted teacher: A passionate teacher of Japanese (my native language), I offer personalized, interactive courses adapted to all levels. 🍡 Build your grammar foundations My comprehensive courses are based on books such as Minna no Nihongo or Irodori, as well as my own materials (slideshows, personalized documents). We approach vocabulary, grammar, conversation and listening in a progressive and interactive way. Are you a beginner? No worries, we will work from the basics using French or English to help you. If you already have some knowledge, we will choose together the grammar points on which you will focus to progress effectively :) 🍡 Advanced Reading and Listening For learners who already have a solid foundation, these courses help strengthen your reading and listening skills. If you have texts or content that you would like to explore, we will use them in class. Otherwise, I will provide you with resources adapted to your level and interests! 🍡 JLPT exam preparation Prepare effectively for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), a recognized exam that validates your level of Japanese. Whether it's to boost your chances for studies, a job or simply to challenge yourself, my courses will guide you with targeted exercises and strategies adapted to your level. In the first lesson, we will discuss in Japanese/French/English to assess your level of Japanese, your expectations for the Japanese course, as well as the books we will use. Each one-hour lesson takes place online or at my home in Prilly. Organize your classes at your own pace: once a week, every two weeks, or even in intensive sessions lasting several hours! I look forward to supporting you in your learning of Japanese, and sharing my culture with you! 🌸

Trusted teacher: Learning Sculpture: From Classicism to Abstraction. Sculpture classes for amateurs or beginners. Starting with bas-relief and progressing to sculpture in the round. I offer classical or abstract training in contemporary art, allowing you to explore your imagination and/or create figurative figures. The course is obviously based on your interests. If you're interested in learning practical sculpting techniques, such as figurative art, we'll focus on that. If you're more drawn to a more abstract form of expression, I'll guide you through your more fantastical ideas. Once your pieces are made, we will think together about the best finishes, whether it be molding and casting in plaster, or ceramic firing of the work. Your productions in progress will be protected and handled with care, and any production that passes the final molding or baking stage will belong to you; I will ask you to take them back when they are finished. The figurative and abstract art courses offer different paths, which can obviously be combined to achieve an interesting middle ground. The figurative course provides busts and plaster casts from which to create models, allowing you to better understand the forms of the face, body, and volumes that make up the human being. Anatomical references will also be available as needed; for example, when working on the torso in modeling, I will present you with advanced anatomical references that you can keep. The course on abstraction operates on another axis, freer, where it will be your ideas above all which will build your path, with technical help from me, advice and helping hands when you need it. You can combine these two courses and I will gladly accompany you on this more mixed path. Since sculpture is a medium that takes up space, your works should not exceed certain dimensions, which will be determined based on your desires and ambitions. Materials are provided: clay, plaster, modeling tools, and other tools. The quantities of clay and plaster will vary depending on your artwork and the chosen method; this variation may affect the price. For example, a piece requiring 5-10 kilos of clay will be less expensive than one requiring twice that amount. Silicone molding may also incur higher costs. ENGLISH: Learning Sculpture: From Classicism to Abstract Art. Sculpture classes for amateurs or beginners, starting with low relief and progressing to free-standing sculpture. I teach classical or abstract contemporary art, allowing you to explore your more abstract ideas, or the creation of figures and portraits. The course is, of course, tailored to your interests. If you're focused on learning specific sculpting techniques in combination with figurative work—we'll concentrate on that. If you're more interested in a more abstract form of expression, I'll accompany you on your creative path. Once your pieces are completed, we will discuss the best finishing options together, whether that involves casting in plaster or firing the work in a kiln. Your works-in-progress will be protected and handled with care, and any piece that reaches the final stage of casting or firing will belong to you; I will ask you to collect them once they are finished. Trusted teacher: My name is Arno and I am currently getting my master's degree at Sciences Po Paris in European Affairs. I have always loved languages. I was raised in a trilingual environment through which I learned Dutch, English, and Armenian. Being raised in this environment has changed the way I look at languages. Besides these three, I also speak Norwegian, Spanish, and French at a B2 level (CEFR) as well as Arabic at B1 level (CEFR). I have more than 5 years of professional experience in language tutoring and know what works and what does not. I have tutored high school and college students and have taught languages to students as young as 7 and as old as 63. My most rewarding language tutoring experience was teaching Dutch to Syrian refugees. Through them, I truly understood the importance of language and how it can connect people from across the world. My personal approach to language learning as a combination of learning how to speak quickly and truly understanding grammar. I try to integrate conversations in the target language from the first class, while at the same time teaching grammar in an accessible way. I understand that students often find grammar daunting, but with the right approach, it truly does not have to be. I do not believe in a "first learn, then apply" approach. When I teach, I want students to start engaging with the language from day one. Whether you have been studying for years, or you are starting from scratch, I am sure that we can make you feel more confident in your abilities in no time!

It is with the utmost admiration and gratitude that I extend my effulgent endorsement for David, the epitome of mathematical tutorship. His fervor for the subject and his pupils is steadfast, and David’s commitment to ensuring proficiency and comprehension is manifest in every tutorial session. His availability is most pliable, as he exhibits a constant readiness to alter his docket to accede to the necessities of his students. This adaptability is rare and precious quality, one that has played a seminal role in my time near the finals. Not only do he demonstrate devotion during his scheduled lessons time, for he is always approachable for additional guidance and support outside his hours. David’s unwavering dedication to the academic success of his students is truly remarkable and deeply appreciated by those who benefit from it. What distinguishes David is not solely his mastery in mathematics, but his amiable and cordial demeanour. He cultivates a genial and hospitable environment; and his pedagogy a harmonious blend of professionalism and conviviality. I consider myself fortunate to have availed myself of David’s instruction, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. In conclusion, if you seek a mathematics tutor, David Devidze should be your first port of call. His passion for the subject, commitment to his students, and affable personality makes him the ideal tutor for anyone seeking to enhance their mathematical understanding and aptitude. A true gem in the world of tutelage

Giorgia

I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!
