Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least. I have many years experience tutoring and teaching both academically and musically. I have taught ages 4-15 years old in the past as well as having many years experience in customer service.
I can teach chords, fingerstyles and plucking, full songs or melodies, in either tab form or standard music notation.

My name is Jade, I am originally from Canada but I am here in the UK studying, earning my Master's degree in physiotherapy. I have been playing guitar for 12 years and piano for 2 years. I was originally self- taught however I received formal lessons after a few years of teaching myself to brush up on the theory of it all. I have worked as a tutor/teacher for many years both academically and musically. Most of my work experience has been with children in this area as well as a sports coach and zoo educator. I also have many years experience in customer service, continuing to work closely with a variety of customer/patient demographics.

Tutoring is a great way to ensure you get extra help or even get ahead in school subjects. In larger classes it may be that there is not enough one-on-one time needed to solidify learned material. The benefits of tutoring also include being more comfortable to admit if some learned material is unclear and needs more time and focus. I have 4 years experience as an academic tutor and many more years working with children with a variety of learning styles. I will dedicate my time and effort to improving student understanding and academic performance.
