Je suis étudiant en 2ème année d’école de commerce à ESCP Europe sur le campus de Londres après avoir passé 3 ans en classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles en voie ECS (Scientifique). Je donne des cours particuliers depuis maintenant 3 ans à des élèves allant du collège aux classes préparatoires. Parallèlement à mes étude j'ai travaillais dans mon ancienne classe préparatoire où je faisais partis de l’équipe pédagogique. J'y ai encadré les élèves principalement en Mathématiques (voie Economique et Scientifique), mais aussi en histoire-géopolitique.

Les mathématiques et l’histoire-géographie ont toujours été mes matières fortes, elles m’ont permis à la fois d’obtenir ma mention au bac et d’intégrer l’une des meilleures écoles de commerces françaises après la classe préparatoire. Mes notes de maths varient entre 17,8 et 20 au concours HEC/ESSEC/ESCP et entre 16 et 19 en Histoire-Géopolitique.

Cette passion pour ces matières continuent de m’habiter et orientent mon projet professionnel vers les métiers de la finance. Cela me permet, en plus des cours particuliers, de garder un bon niveau à la fois en mathématiques, histoire-géographie mais aussi en anglais et espagnol qui sont deux langues aujourd’hui indispensables dans tous les métiers tournés vers l’internationale.

En plus de mon sérieux académique, j’ai eu la chance de faire un grand nombre de voyage (Etats-Unis, Angleterre, Italie, Islande, Tanzanie, Afrique du Sud...) qui m’ont permis à la fois de renforcer mon niveau linguistique, mais aussi de m’ouvrir à d’autres cultures ; élément essentiel selon moi pour comprendre le monde d’aujourd’hui.

J’ai travaillé pendant toute mon année de terminal à la Croix Rouge française ; le soucis d’autrui est un élément majeur de ma personnalité et je l’applique aussi bien dans la vie de tout les jours que dans mon suivi d’élève. Calculus is the first course of any mathematics major. This class is offered for children and high school students . Mathematics is a course that is so important in our daily life. The class is offered in english. I can help the students with their assignment and give them tutoring sessions so that they can have a good knowledge.

I specialise in tutoring children still in primary education. My lessons are designed to help children with subjects they may be struggling with or providing that extra extension! I have taught from Reception/Kindergarten up to Year 6; I was head of Maths and French as well as head of Year 3. As head of maths, I am trained in Singapore Maths - an innovative approach to mathematics which takes a from the ground up approach; teaching children a deeper understanding of the patterns and links between numbers rather than learning by rote or memorisation. I have a wealth of experience and am very well versed in how to plan sessions to support, engage and ensure children progress across all subjects. This lovely year 11 boy was a grade 5 student in maths, after working really hard with him, doing exam papers every week, giving him challenged questions he did extremely well and achieved a grade 7 maths. His grade then allowed him to confirm his place in a Grammar school in Kent.
I am also trained to teach/tutor mathematics using mathematics mastery. This is a program designed to help students conceptualise and understand the reason why we are studying mathematics. This program follows a CPA approach (Concrete Pictorial Abstract). For every topic that I teach/tutor, I always bring maths alive by taking real life examples. These help students understand the concept. For instance: Calculating with negative numbers is a topic that most student find difficult in maths. even those that get it might not be able to explain the reason why -4 + 8 = 4.
when teaching this topic, I like using oyster cards, bank account or the weather as an example. `if I have -4 pound in my oyster card what does it mean? ` Now I top up 8 pounds what will my new balance be? This was just an example of how to link mathematics to real life situations.

I can teach/tutor students with different abilities this include higher, middle and lower set.
