My name is Aleksandar Nikolaev and I am from Bulgaria. I offer flute lessons (modern and traverso), piano and music theory, all ages and levels are welcome! I am able to teach in English, German, French and Bulgarian (my native language). I had a teaching job for 2 years in Germany and I would like to continue developing my teaching skills if you are interested, do not hesitate to contact me. My journey : I have a master's degree in modern flute performance (HfM Dresden, Germany) and I am pursuing a second master's degree in historical instrument practice (HEM Geneva). I have also always studied piano and organ from a young age.

Currently graduated from the Master of Music Pedagogy at the University of Music of Geneva, professional violist in the Galaad quartet and in the Camerata du Léman, I propose courses of ALTO or VIOLON to make you love and discover the beauty of music. I can help students with their piano exams and theory exams. I also have experience teaching beginner students. My goal is to inspire people with music so that they find joy in playing an instrument and in the lessons. I give violin lessons (also viola) for children and adults. During the first lesson we will first get acquainted and I will explain about the posture and we will first make sound. It is important to first learn the basics well (rhythm, reading notes, posture and more), I always give nice songs and if students prefer to learn to play something that is always allowed. If the student can already play then we look together for the repertoire. It is also important to practice regularly, you don't have to do much, 10 minutes a day works fine as long as it is regular. I play more classical music myself, but I can of course also play modern well-known songs.
