I am a qualified CELTA native English teacher, who has been teaching English for over seventeen years, twelve of
which have been in Zurich.
I have a very wide and varied background, with a wealth of knowledge and experience to
teach and share with my students. For me teaching is more than a job, it’s about giving my
students the skills they need to achieve their goals in life.
I am a completely competent teacher, who has taught all levels from 4 year olds up to
adults. I have taught Cambridge exam classes including preparation for PET, KET, FCE,
CAE, BEC and Trinity exams, furthermore, IB English A: Language and Literature and
TOEFL. In addition, business classes, as well as one to ones to all levels tailored to meet each
individual students needs.

I am an energetic, responsible and determined teacher, able to overcome obstacles to achieve measured excellence. I have closeness to all my students, listening to their feedback, always trying to improve my teaching techniques. I am totally flexible and open to new ideas and the daily changing demands of teaching. I always strive to exceed my student’s expectations enabling them to feel confident to use new language. I have valuable training and management experience gained through my role as senior teacher in my previous position.

I am a passionate teacher, who strives to give my students all the knowledge and guidance they will need to further their own careers and lives. I use my own varied life experiences, to make imaginative and creative focused lessons. I am a sympathetic listener, who treats each student as an individual. I am adept at working as an organized team member, or on my own initiative. I
have a friendly and caring approach to people, which enables me to communicate with all levels of students.
