Trusted teacher: I hold a Doctorate in Music from McGill University’s Schulich School of Music, where I specialized in percussion under the mentorship of internationally acclaimed performers and pedagogues. My musical training began with classical piano studies at the age of five and continued with rigorous instruction through my adolescence. I studied with teachers trained in the Chinese Central Conservatory tradition, whose pedagogical lineage includes disciples of renowned pianists such as Fou Ts'ong and Yin Chengzong. My piano repertoire covered major works from the Classical and Romantic periods, and I was a regular participant in national youth competitions and conservatory masterclasses in China.
