I have been singing for twelve years now and have had many amazing opportunities as a professional vocalist. I started as a pop singer but, in recent years, I have turned towards musical theater. As a performer, it is very important to be able to sing different genres of music. Therefore, I am able to help my students in whatever genre they need through my experience and knowledge. Whether you want to sing the latest Olivia Rodrigo song or are a big fan of Les Miserables, I can provide you with guidance into getting the sound that you want. In my classes, I would like to give the student as much freedom as possible. The student can bring a song they would like to work on or I can suggest material. We will explore different methods and find out what works best for you! Dependent on the level and what the student wants from the lessons, we can also talk about the anatomy of body and why we use certain methods to reach those hard notes. My passion in singing is to help students sing the songs they want to without damaging themselves and in a safe and fun environment where making mistakes is encouraged! I can also provide tips and tricks for those looking to incorporate their acting skills into singing. My classes are open to all ages and levels. I teach Guzheng and Chinese music theory from beginners to advanced students, or for professional purposes. My teaching styles is mixed Chinese and Taiwanese, figuring out which is the best way for students.definitely bringing you a different learning style. I will ask my students lots "Why" on their performance. It helps students think, have their own character in music. We will focus on basic practice and technical aspects, such as posture, finger strength, movements and articulation. Currently pursuing a BA Drama degree at the University of Manchester, I've studied higher level English under the International Baccalaureate (IBDP) and will make you love the language through some fun games and exercises that will rapidly strengthen your fluency of English. Classes will be online and flexible depending on the student's requirements and can be conducted as many times a week as required. The regular structure is 60 minutes per day but this can be adjusted based on the student. Classes will be held online and will be flexible based on the students' requirements. The time period will range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes per day and sessions can be scheduled based on the students' needs and urgency. My classes won't be too time consuming or stressful, as my aim is to teach the language but also make the child love the process of learning it. Classes will include fun exercises and games that made learning English a lot more easier and increase the fluency. Since I have studied English at primary, secondary, and an International (IBDP) level, I will make sure to transfer the skills of English writing and speaking proficiency as well as reading and essay writing skills, complemented by several fun conversations in English. Classes will also include getting the student to watch clips of Hollywood movies and reading extracts from novels to increase their language capabilities. By the end of the sessions, students will definitely have learned a significant amount of the language which will keep progressing and getting stronger as we continue our sessions.
