Trusted teacher: I love the process of teaching and learning alike, because I feel the same joy assisting someone to learn something, as if I had just learned something new and wonderful myself. For university level mechanical or related engineering students, I have over 3 years of official tutoring experience at the University of California, Davis, while studying Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy helping you with Calculus, Differential Equations, Physics, and many more listed below: Differential, Integral, Vector, and Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Dynamics, Statics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Thermofluid Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, and Electrical Circuits and Systems. My tutoring philosophy consists of 3 core principles: - Positive feedback - Asking questions - Pen in your hand Positive feedback means that I will never become impatient with you, over-emphasize what you did wrong, make you feel bad for your mistakes, or make you feel stupid. Comfortably making lots of mistakes will help you learn better and retain your problem-solving process more easily. I will praise and congratulate you often for the concepts that you come to understand, and will point out that even if you don't reach the correct answer, there were many correct thinking-processes that you were using that deserve recognition. Asking questions means that I will never give you the answer directly, but rather confirm what you have right, and ask you targeted questions to help you think differently about the problems you are struggling with. I believe it is the most effective and most enjoyable way to learn something, when you manage to deduce some of the answers to your questions yourself. You will retain the concepts longer and it will better equip you to learn related topics in the future. Pen in your hand means that you will be the one driving the session. I want you to narrate your thoughts, decisions, and reasons for why you write down what you do. This will help understand the problem better by simply speaking it aloud, and it will help me better understand exactly what you do/don't understand.

Then this is the course for you! Have you always been fascinated by Ancient Egypt? Have you always dreamed of learning more about this fascinating and mysterious culture? Then this course is just right for you! Be semper stato affascinato dall'antico Egitto? Have you ever heard of conoscere meglio and the mystery of this fascinating civility? Allora questo è il corso per te! Teaching approach: I have always been fascinated by ancient Egypt, and during my studies of Foreign Languages and Literature at Turin University, I took Egyptology for one year. I studied with Professor Silvio Curto, a well-known Egyptologist who was the Director of the Turin Museum for many years. Since my studies I have kept reading Egyptology texts and enriching my knowledge, my main interest and specialization being ancient Egyptian mythology, deities (and especially goddesses), as well as magic. Course program: Turin is the city in which I was born, raised and where I lived for a long time. This city is closely linked to ancient Egypt, since it houses the oldest Egyptian Museum worldwide, and still one of the most important collections in the world. In this course we are going to visit the Museo Egizio in Turin virtually, and we are going to read and discuss interesting texts written by Egyptologists, discussing many fascinating topics, such as ancient Egyptian magic, mythology, gods and goddesses, women in Ancient Egypt and many more. And if you visit Turin, a live lesson in the Egyptian Museum in the form of a guided visit can be arranged! In this course we will virtually tour the 'Museo Egizio' in Turin and we will talk about many fascinating topics such as Egyptian magic, deities, famous pharaohs, amulets, ancient Egyptian art and much more. We will also answer interesting questions: When did ancient Egypt begin? How old were the Egyptians? Were women equal? What colors were there in the Egyptian language? And if you're visiting Turin, there's also the option to organize a live lesson in the form of a shared tour of the Egyptian Museum! In the course of a virtual visit to the Egyptian Museum of Torino and to the audience of many fascinating arguments: the pyramids and the temples of Abu Simbel, the amulet of all the divine egizie, the Valle dei Re and the Regine as the ruins of the ancient Egitto woman. Trusted teacher: I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). I am also qualified to support students in preparing for international exams such as the SAT, the OMPT, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in all its variations: Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL). Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

Trusted teacher: I offer you a new learning experience. The focus is on practical application and theory is only introduced where intuition reaches its limits. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, my tailor-made lessons will accelerate your language acquisition in a positive learning environment. You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise. There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge: When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next. When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster. Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. My offer is aimed at both young people and adults who want to learn German or improve their knowledge without wasting time on nonsensical school methods. I offer individual or group lessons for German. The methods are based on cognitive science and, in particular, comparative linguistics. My flexible programme can be tailored to your individual needs. The programme focuses on your independence in spontaneous conversations in real life. What is particularly important to me: motivating my students and help them establish a learning rhythm; encouraging their creativity; helping them become more familiar with the language; teaching them the letters and their sounds; strengthening their memory by training their phonological loop; teaching sentence building plans instead of memorising sentences; explaining how language works so that my students can become independent as quickly as possible. I look forward to meeting you.

Nouhaila

My daughter had her first lesson and she is very happy with Nouhaila. Excellent teacher. From the first moment a pleasant contact and clear answers to all my questions. Nouhaila thinks along well about the objectives to be achieved taking into account the age of my daughter. (16). A warm person. My daughter is enthusiastic and really enjoyed the first lesson. Serious (to use the hour well and completely) with an occasional joke. It is also nice that the lessons can continue during the summer holidays. Benoit

rating green star
Benoit is friendly and patient and has a good sense of when to challenge and when to take a step back. My son, who is 8, really likes his lessons very much. He loves math, especially working with big numbers, and at school it isn't always possible to work on calculations as he would like. After few lessons he already learned new techniques for calculations he likes to experiment with and Benoit also managed to challenge him to try some new and more advanced things. I think this type of lessons is more tricky to prepare, at least until the teacher gets to know well the capacities and character of the child, as there are not based on the child's curriculum or homework to be done. Benoit is always open to discussion and if my son finds something too challenging, they take a step back and try another way or just agree to try another time when my son feels ready for it.

Kevin

Kevin is a genius, who is capable of breaking down complex concepts into manageable, useful bits. If you think of a really large basket of vegetables and fruits. You know all the nutrients are good for you, but it would be tedious to try to eat it all raw. But then, you get a juicer or blender or 'Nutribullet', and juice all those vegetables and fruits into a refreshing smoothie. You can then drink that smoothie as quickly or slowly as you wish, and still get all the necessary nutrients... That's what Kevin can do - he juices all the complex intricacies of the German language into something you can understand and digest. His methods are unconventional, but very helpful in laying a proper foundation for a successful language learning journey. Very highly recommended.
