Ich habe meine Ausbildung in Italien bei wichtigen international renommierten Lehrern absolviert und dort mein Masterstudium mit Bestnoten abgeschlossen. Er hat in zahlreichen Konzerten wichtiger Konzertsaisonen in Italien und im Ausland gespielt, allein oder mit Kammermusikgruppen. Das Unterrichten lag mir schon immer am Herzen und ich hatte seit mehreren Jahren die Möglichkeit, an verschiedenen Schulen und privat zu unterrichten.

Unabhängig von Ihrer Erfahrung kann ich Ihnen sowohl aus physikalischer Sicht bei der Lösung technischer Probleme aller Art als auch aus künstlerischer Sicht dabei helfen, zu verstehen, wie musikalische Sprache in all ihren wunderbaren Aspekten funktioniert.

Hello! My name is Piero, and I am an Italian pianist currently based in Vienna.
I completed my studies in Italy with internationally renowned teachers, earning top marks in my Master’s program. I have performed in numerous concerts both in Italy and abroad, as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and for several years I have had the opportunity to teach at various schools as well as privately. I offer lessons for all ages and skill levels, always respecting each student’s individual needs, goals, and strengths.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, I can guide you both technically—helping you solve any challenges at the piano—and artistically, helping you understand the language of music in all its richness and beauty.

Born in 2002, pianist Piero began his musical studies on the violin before turning to the piano at the age of ten with Salvatore Di Pietro. He completed his academic training at the Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” in Turin under Laura Richaud and Claudio Voghera, graduating with a Master’s degree with top marks and honours. Since 2018 he has also studied at the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo with Enrico Stellini, Benedetto Lupo and Enrico Pace.
In 2023 he was awarded a scholarship to take part in an exchange at the University of Georgia (USA), where he worked with Alan Woo, Liza Stepanova and Evgeny Rivkin, and performed in the Edge Hall of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music. He is currently continuing his artistic development at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität in Vienna under the guidance of Jura Margulis.
He has taken part in masterclasses with internationally renowned musicians such as Maria João Pires, Enrico Pace, Benedetto Lupo, Anna Malikova and Milana Chernyavska. He has also cultivated his passion for chamber music, working with distinguished musicians such as Oliver Wille (Kuss Quartet) and Miklós Perényi.
Prize-winner of numerous national and international competitions (including New Pianists Cup Osimo, European Music Competition Moncalieri, Bach Piano Competition in Sestri Levante, International Competition “Città di Alessandria”, and National Competition “Acqui e Terzo Musica”), he has established himself as both soloist and chamber musician.
His concert activity has taken him across Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Poland and Austria performing at festivals and venues such as Unione Musicale Torino, Viotti Festival Vercelli, Emilia Romagna Concerti Ravenna, Lions Club Torino, Suoni in Movimento Biella, Summer Music Festival of the Pinerolo Music Academy in Bardonecchia, Nuits Romantiques Aix-les-Bains, Fundación Eutherpe León, SPMK Kraków, Steingräber Haus Bayreuth.

Hello and welcome to my music studio! It is absolutely fabulous that you are interested in music, and I hope you have lots and lots of fun with it! However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in!
This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano.
In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP!
Lessons can be in English or Dutch.

So who am I?
In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege.
On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year.
Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

Mein Name ist Felix, ich bin Student an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, und ich selbst stamme aus einer Familie von Musiklehrern. Ich bin ein kreativer Musiker und Komponist und möchte Ihnen die Freude am Musizieren näher bringen.
