Über mich

Hello! My name is Michail, I am 33 years old, I am Greek, but I have spent eight years in the US for my studies! I pursued degrees in piano performance at the bachelor and master levels at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. I have just moved to the Netherlands in order to pursue further studies and I am living in Utrecht!

During my almost eight years in the United States, I was fortunate to teach students of several ages. I realized that my love for piano and music overall knows no boundaries when it comes to age! I love teaching younger children as much as I love teaching university students or adults that enjoy learning the piano! Lately, I am experimenting with the use of improvisation in my lessons as a tool to promote the constructive use of imagination and creativity. It proves that all ages can benefit from it!

I have taught group piano classes as an instructor at Ithaca College (during my graduate school years), as well as private piano lessons for four years. I have also taught for more than five years both younger students and university students. I enjoy both group piano classes and private lessons, but I always cherish the special relationship that forms between student and teacher after a long period of private piano lessons.

I have given theory lessons to several students on the side, either to help them sharpen their theory skills for our piano lessons or prepare them for an entry test. Theory lessons always go hand to hand with private lessons, especially for the beginners!

I am looking forward to sharing my passion for music and the piano with all the new people I will meet here ;)

My name is Waldemar and I am a classical piano teacher.
I teach young (from 8 years old) and old, individually or in groups.

I received my training from Fania Chapiro in Hilversum and later at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Danielle Dechenne.

Depending on your level, we will in principle cover all aspects of technique and interpretation. You can always make special requests known to me.
In addition, I think it is important to structure the lessons and focus on themes so that you really learn something.

In addition to being a piano teacher, I am also available as a composition, music theory or solfege teacher.

I am a 25 year Master Student from Düsseldorf. I am very flexible timewise as I most of my uni content is online and recorded. Now some information about my guitar experience:

I've been playing acoustic and electric guitar for over twelve years. I played in two bands and was a prize winner atat German music contest on state level. I have already given lessons for 3 children and 5 adults and can teach beginner to advanced level. "Offline and "Online".

In my lessons, I make sure that fun and motivation is quickly generated. I explain music theory only to the extent that it always contributes to direct progress on the instrument. I am always patient and friendly, and as soon as you have some basic knowledge, I am happy to respond to individual wishes.
Of course I also give lessons via Skype and Zoom and send practice material as a Word file afterwards.

Classes can be held at my place in Utrecht Overvecht or as I can also come to your place. Whatever you prefer.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)
She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal. For young, teenagers and adults, all levels, no previous experience necessary.

I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both teaching individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won prizes in competitions and several scholarships prizes.

Who I am?
Hi! My name is Jobbe. Once upon a time, I was an aspiring academic, but longing for a more creative way to share my voice I started singing and quite I recently graduated form the Master of Music program direction Music Theatre. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. For me, I saw this happening many times during a performance but also in coaching others and it gives me chills every time. And I would be honoured to help you pass on this little spark of magic to others!

As I am only just starting with these individual lessons for a limited time they are available.
