I am a CELTA qualified English tutor based on the Asian side of Istanbul, with experience in preparing students for the IELTS, TOEFL and SAT exam. I also teach business and conversational English.

Whether it's tricky idioms or the anxiety when holding long conversations which bothers you, look no further. I promise to help you address your English-learning goals through lasting strategies which will stay with you long after the lessons are over!

I can teach students one-on-one or as a group (as long as the learners are at a similar level).

I can teach either at your place or at a cafe (as long as the venue is a quiet place without too many distractions). Depending on your learning goals (e.g standardized test such as the SAT or general conversational English) and the time-frame (a month, three months etc), I will let you know which books or resources you'll need to use.

No problem everything is possible, working step by step together, you will acquire a solid foundation in each of the languages. This class is focused on English speaking, reading and writing for beginners. My goal is to help young non-native English speakers to keep their confidence for learning English as a second language. I maintain the fun in learning with various English games for children and young students.

I am a Franco-American student, and I just love languages. I have taught English, French and Italian for years, after a rigorous training in a literary « prépa », Louis-le-Grand in Paris. I am always jovial and patient with my students, and I provide them with interesting material (videos, poems, old books), quite different from a « normal » school setting.
I strive not only toward my students' improvement, but also to make sure that they learn how to learn a language by themselves.
That can be done from a very young age and it is a very useful skill, that helped me learn German and Spanish without any proper lesson. I am now learning Turkish.
