Welcome to Tamil for Beginners. Tamil is a south Indian classical language spoken by approximately 80 million people worldwide and is one of the official languages in India, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia. Tamils form a huge diaspora in almost all the countries in the world, prominently in UK, US and Canada.

Tamil is the offshoot of the Dravidian language family, quite distinct from Indo-European roots. It has separate fonts and some experts believe it grew in the south alongside Sanskrit in the north. Learn this wonderful language that is at least 3000 years old with a rich classic literature.

In my lesson, I can teach you the basics of the french language, but also dig more into the French grammar as well as talking about french culture, history, and geography. My aim will be to make you independent, so you can work by yourself.

I take an individual approach to support with reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary practice.

Before starting, I suggest a session where we get to know each other and talk about your language learning goals. I know that that everyone has different learning styles and paces, and so I take a flexible and individually-made approach to teaching. I will prepare everything we need for the lesson, and suggest that we meet wherever is easiest and most comfortable for you.
