Hi, I'm Nikos, a guitar teacher with over 12 years of experience and a Master's degree in classical guitar performance from the Conservatory of Brussels. I have taught over 100 students, providing individualized lessons and personalized attention to every one of them. After having studied at the A. Steffani Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto in Italy where he obtained the highest distinction, Gabriele then passed with distinction his Master of violin at the Royal Conservatory of Mons with M ° Eliot Lawson and Wibert Aerts. During her training, Gabriele also studied with Ilya Grubert at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia in Italy, Elina Vahala at the Hochschule Fur Musik Karlsruhe and followed masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Stefano Pagliani, Elisabeth Perry, Igor Volochine, Vineta Sareika, Kati Sebestyén and Chouchane Sironossian. He is currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with M ° Shirly Laub and M ° Frédéric d'Ursel in specialized master's degree and Agrégation at the Royal Conservatory of Mons. In 2018, Gabriele won the audition for the Jeugd Antwerp Simphony Orchestra (ASO) and for the Nationaal Jeugd Orkest (NJO); in 2019 he won the audition for European Union Youth Orchestra (Euyo) and Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza (OTO) and is also selected in 2020 for the Young Belgian Strings as well as the Antwerp Philarmonic Orchestra. He has collaborated with several orchestras in Italy and Belgium, including the Boho Strings Orchestra in Antwerp, the Ataneres Ensemble in Louvain, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai in Tournai, the Assai Symphonia in Hasselt, the Orchestra of Archi Italiani and the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Italy. Very involved in the chamber music repertoire, Gabriele founded in 2018 with the pianist Julien Lejeune the Duo Aréthuse, in which they explore the romantic French and contemporary Italian repertoire, in search of an interpretation marked by accuracy, simplicity and of modernity. They are at the initiative of the creation in 2019 of the Hellens Ensemble, consisting of a string quartet, a piano and a lyrical singer, an ensemble with which they are interested in Belgian music and more particularly to the repertoire with voice. Gabriele also studied at the University of Padua at the Faculty of History and Musicology.

I taught at the conservatory, and in music school. The courses are divided into several parts. The first is learning the basics (for beginners), the technique of the violin, then the consolidation of the notions of music theory and finally the discovery of pieces. Originally from Auvergne and Paris, I am currently pursuing my musical journey at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Marie Hallynck's class. I hold a Diploma in Musical Studies in cello, obtained at the Regional Conservatory of Rueil-Malmaison in the Paris region. My teaching experience: private cello teacher, cello teacher within the French organization Orchester à l'Ecole, whose objective is to allow easier accessibility to classical music for children who are far from it, piano teacher , music theory teacher. Depending on the level of the student, I put in place an adapted work program, which combines non-exhaustively: 1/ learning the necessary bases in music theory in order to be able to read music, to be comfortable with a score 2/ of course, cello practice, one step after the other! 3/ initiation to improvisation 4/ initiation to singing. My primary objective is to allow my students to be comfortable with a score, but also to be comfortable without it. My course is aimed at young beginners who want to learn the piano, and who are ready to go through the music theory box! For the course of the course it's quite simple: we will choose several pieces together, depending on the level of difficulty and the student's desires. The course will be divided into two: a first part of music theory (which I will make fun with various exercises, don't worry), and a second practical part where the student will play the chosen pieces. Concerning myself, I did 13 years of piano at the Montpellier Conservatory. I studied music theory, piano, chamber music, sight reading and choir there. I have been giving piano lessons for several years now, in Paris until last year and now in Brussels. I like to transmit this passion, and it is with listening and kindness that I do it!

Initiation - beginner - intermediate. My methodology is flexible and adaptable, depending on the level, needs and desires of the student. The goal for me is above all to combine work / progress and fun. Overall, I prefer working with children because their energy fascinates me, but I also teach adults! & for the small presentation: I am 27 years old, I am a musician and visual artist, I work in associations, in particular in the organization of events such as concerts and electronic music in Brussels. I focus on giving saxophone lessons to people with a solid or basic foundation who wants to improve or start improvising. This course is especially for those who feel stagnant in improving their music skills. I will actively analyse your areas for improvement and provide personal guidance and methods. I am very aware that each person thinks differently while improvising: personal exercises are given, depending on your needs. Applied music theory lessons are a support of this class. I integrate chord theory into practical saxophone lessons, making a key connection between ear and theory. I started playing classical saxophone, and I am currently a Jazz saxophone student at the conservatory of Brussels. Switching to Jazz made me analyse my own behaviour in improvising, which I find a crucial step in development. Feel free to reach out! I am also happy to give lessons to complete beginners or children as well.
