About Me

I'm passionate about history, social science, and generally in understanding the human condition. I've spent most of my life explaining both the broader strokes, and more detailed historical analysis to my friends and family, and now I've brought my skills to tutoring. It would be my pleasure to work with you and share my interest in the field. The class will be taught in English, but is also available in Norwegian. Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.

Having a good grasp of your country's history (or the history of a country you are moving to) is important, and to be able to achieve that, you need to be able to understand it in a meaningful way. My goal is to help you do just that! Our lessons will be tailored to your needs and learning styles, and you will be tutored in an attentive and patient environment.

I will tutor and/or teach any era of US History from the founding of Jamestown in 1607 to the beginning of Obama's presidency in 2008 (which is roughly where most high school and middle school U.S. History textbooks end). If need be, I will stick with students throughout the entire year. Once I am told where we need to start, and I assess what lesson type would fit the student the best, I will begin with our lesson plans.

Classes and tutoring ARE offered year-around, 7 days a week (though availability in terms of time may vary). This is to give students the availability to access help and education throughout the year, anytime, on a schedule that suits their needs.
