I am offering tutoring for subjects such as English, History and Politics with a particular emphasis on essays, applications and drafting skills.
Formulating a written argument that is both succinct and coherent is a crucial skill for any discipline but it is especially useful for subjects such as english, history and politics. I believe that anybody is capable of writing well and my classes are designed to improve a student's structure, vocabulary and syntax. The class is designed for a broad range of students who may be looking for help on a particular project, application or simply want to improve their writing skills.
My classes are not overly prescriptive and I am willing to adapt my teaching methods to a student's particular needs and objectives. Ultimately, my aim is for students to develop their writing skills and become stronger communicators.

I am half Irish, half Spanish and I am currently living in Brussels. I have recently finished my studies and I will be working as a trainee lawyer in London as of February 2021. I have decided to provide tutoring services in the interim because it is something I have genuinely enjoyed in the past and I believe that I can help students across a range of subjects.
Although I can provide help across a range of subjects, I am particularly focused on drafting skills and writing. I believe these skills are invaluable and critical to achieving academic success as well as job/university applications.
In terms of my own background, I completed the IB Diploma at an international school in Belgium followed by a BA in History and Politics at the University of Exeter. I later decided to pursue a career in Law and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law. This was followed by a year of working at a law firm in London after which I completed the Legal Practice Course. My academic career has exposed me to a wide range of teaching methods and allowed me to develop key skills that I am looking to pass onto students.
