I am a Classical Philology student at the University of Valencia, with great teaching skills and a knack for explaining things. Classical languages are essential for learning our own language and a great help for learning other diverse languages. My teaching methodology is to consolidate the foundations of the subject with simple but well-explained examples, with the goal of improving the understanding of languages from their roots and helping the student acquire fundamental knowledge for continuing or deepening their study of the subject.

Hello! I'm Andrés, and I have a degree in Classical Philology. I teach Latin and Ancient Greek at all levels, both for academic support and for those who want to learn these two languages for pleasure. I like to teach these subjects using new methodologies that make learning them more enjoyable and enjoyable for the student. I also like to complement the teaching of these languages with culture and history classes, as it's very important to understand the context in which we operate in each class. I offer general history courses tailored to the needs of students, from middle school to master's level. The sessions aim to develop both an understanding of major periods and historical issues, as well as the ability to critically analyze sources and events. Depending on the level, courses may focus on reviewing chronological bases, preparing for exams (maturité, baccalauréat, mid-terms), in-depth thematic study (social, political, cultural, international history), or even support for research and writing academic papers. The teaching methods are interactive and personalized: contextualizing key concepts, explaining documents, synthesis exercises, and dissertation practice. The objective is to give students solid tools to understand the issues of the past and develop critical thinking skills that are useful both in their studies and in their daily lives.

An introduction to the basic syntactic and grammatical phenomena of the ancient Greek language. We use texts from the ancient Greek Literature (Ancient Greek History, Tragedies and Myths) as well as the Bible or Byzantine Hymnology in order to better understand the structure and way of thinking of the Greek language. The course is addressed to anyone who either has or doesn't have a knowledge of the Greek language. It is built as a personalized course, based on each student's level, motivation and learning needs.

It is also possible to adapt it in relation to an exam or competition to be taken, or to a person wishing to complete their general knowledge on a particular subject.

History is a discipline that deals with the systematic study of the past, both at a concrete level (regional, period-specific) and at a more general level (as a historical process, encompassing long periods of time). History is crucial for understanding the world we live in, as well as the historical events and processes that most influence us today. In history courses, you'll learn about various periods in history, but we'll also specialize in practical cases that help us understand periods in the past.

This 60-minute course examines the pivotal role of France's crippling public debt in the lead-up to the 1789 Revolution. We will explore how decades of costly wars left the monarchy fiscally insolvent. The course will reveal how the Crown's attempts to reform the tax system—and extend taxation to the privileged nobility and clergy—sparked a political showdown. We will analyze how the aristocracy’s refusal to sacrifice its fiscal exemptions created a constitutional deadlock, forcing the king to convene the Estates-General for the first time in over 150 years. Ultimately, this course demonstrates that the financial crisis was not merely an economic problem, but a deeply political one that catalyzed the collapse of the Ancien Régime.
