My passion for mathematics has been accompanying me since I first encountered a math problem in elementary school. As I embarked on a journey of life-long learning, I knew that my life must always revolve around mathematics, in one way or another. More than a decade of intensive educational background and research made me realize that few things in life are as valuable as the joy of discovery; an emotion I frequently encountered during solving hard mathematical challenges and puzzles. I believe that every person, irrespective of their current level of engagement with mathematics, deserves to experience the "heureka!"-feeling that follows the countless hours of suffering with a math homework or exam preparation.

While being a teaching assistant during my current PhD studies, I discovered that through hard work and dedication (and with the help of an incredibly motivated mentor), anyone can overcome even seemingly indestructible obstacles. Guided by the spirit of my many excellent teachers and professors, I aim to transer my knowledge and experience to anyone who feels stuck in their studies, cannot seem to find the solution to a tough problem, or just needs clarification to a complicated theorem. I would be more than happy to give a helping hand with any difficulty you encounter.

With an academic background in Mathematics, both at Bachelors and Masters level, followed by my ongoing PhD studies, I aim to turn my recent experience in college into a way of providing support for students feeling that they need another source to rely on. Feel free to approach me with questions in Algebra, Combinatorics, Geometry, Calculus, etc. Based on your needs, we can dedicate a lesson to recovering foggy parts of your studies, or discussing topics you feel less confident in. If you feel helplessly lost, we can structure a comprehensive course to get you from zero to hero, and help you get back on track with your curriculum.

As a former regular participant of national maths competitons, I can also provide help with high-school level material. Depending on your needs, we can address a specific question, topic, or even entire fields such as Geometry, Probability Theory, Number Theory, and so on.

👨‍🎓 With 4 years of experience in distance learning, I am a mathematics teacher, specialist in support courses and private lessons.
I also teach physics and chemistry as well as science subjects in general.

I hold a Master's degree in Operational Research (Applied Mathematics) and I have been teaching private lessons for more than 3 years, mainly mathematics for College and High School levels.

✏ I have taught students from public, private, French Program (Mission), Belgian, Swiss, Spanish Program (students from the Spanish school who are French or English speaking), American Program...
In short, all French or English programs.

✏ I accompany students from A to Z, in all stages of their learning with a simple, new generation and effective methodology: Course explanation, course summary, deepening application exercises etc...

✏ I prepare for exams and competitions

✏ I help with homework.

✏ My students have all evolved in an extraordinary way and have all achieved their goals. 16, 17, 18, 19 out of 20.

Sessions usually take place as follows:

1️⃣ The first sessions are mainly intended to gauge the level of the student in order to highlight the shortcomings observed.

2️⃣ Then comes the establishment of a plan to fill the gaps: Number of hours of work required, The parts of the lessons to focus on, Several training and development exercises...

3️⃣ We make sure to do all of this while staying up to date with the student's class teacher.

4️⃣ I then provide exams similar to what is likely to be asked in class.

5️⃣ I draw up a report on demand, usually monthly, in order to keep parents informed about their child's level throughout the course.

I also adapt my methodology according to the needs of each student, so everyone has a personalized working method adapted to their needs!

I also do crash courses for those who are preparing for the start of the school year so that they start the year strong 💪 and know the program in advance. 🧠
