I am a native speaker of English and student at the University of Nottingham in England where I study Spanish and Portuguese. I am on my semester abroad in Lisbon, and would love to tutor students in English to help develop their knowledge of the language.
My goal is to tailor classes to match the language capability level of the student in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere!

Présentation

I am a 21 year old student from Manchester in England studying languages at The University of Nottingham. I am currently on my year abroad, I was in Madrid for the first half and I am now in Lisbon studying for the second. I have always loved learning languages, currently my degree focuses on Spanish and Portuguese, but I have also studied German (to A- Level, British qualification) and Latin ( to GCSE level, British qualification).

Education

I am currently studying an undergraduate degree at The University of Nottingham in Spanish and Portuguese.
I completed my GCSE qualifications (taken aged 16 years old) and obtained 13 with grades A*-B.
I completed my A level qualifictaions (taken aged 18 years old) and obtained grades ABB, in subjects German, Spanish and English Literature.

Currently studying an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Portuguese.
I have worked in a restaurant as a waitress since the age of 16 (I am now 21).
I was part of a dance school from the age of 4-18, where I took part in shows and exams obtaining grades up to intermediate level in ballet tap and modern. In my last few years at the dance school I also helped out with younger classes (ages 3-12), and in shows looking after the younger children.
My experience working with a range of ages has allowed me to understand that everyone responds differently to situations they are presented with, which is why I believe it is important that I tailor my classes to suit the individual.

Recently graduated from a master's degree in international affairs and intercultural communication, I decided to come to Lisbon for 1 year.
I offer tutoring courses in languages (Spanish - bilingual and English - fluent) and help with homework.

I will focus more on the communicative part rather than the academic one, I will teach you how to talk in a regular basis, so it can be helpful for you the next time you want to travel. The way I teach is light-hearted and fun, I can use videos, music or anything that will make you fall in love with the language, sometimes I will give you fun assignements to do, which I am pretty sure you will love it.

I'm French but I studied in England and so I can speak both languages very well.
I can help with pronunciation and accent, with grammar and conjugation, but also with basic and advanced conversation.
I am interested in different cultures and therefore, I like to connect language learning with some cultural aspects.

Kiteboarding lessons are at Lagoa de Albufeira and Praia Nova Vaga, Costa da Caparica.
