I have facilitated workshops and given classes throughout my career all over the world. English pronunciation is essential these days because English is spoken everywhere and all the time. I followed specialized training such as the verb tonal method, Feldenkrais or mental coaching. We are therefore going to work in a slightly different way by combining articulatory techniques, movement, rhythm, intonation, warming up of the jaw and tongue, stretching of the neck, neck and shoulders to arrive to very fast results.

Graduated in Modern Languages and Letters with a Master in Pedagogy, I am fluent in French, English and Spanish, my mother tongue. Thanks to my experience as a language teacher in various schools and language academies, I had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of audiences, including children, teenagers and adults. This is how I developed the capacity to create pedagogical sequences and methodological processes adapted to the public and its needs. As a teacher, I am dynamic, proactive and able to take initiatives to solve problems and engage students.

In the case of tutoring, I base my lessons on the subject seen by the student by explaining to him in another way with many examples and by making him practice as much as possible. In case of learning the basics, I have set up my own totally interactive method so that the student can practice and during which I speak almost only in English to be close to immersion during the lessons. Since I believe that the learning environment is one of the keys to successful language learning, I endeavor to make students feel comfortable and content in my lessons: to ask questions if they are unsure and keep an easy but rewarding pace of learning. Depending on how my students feel they learn English most effectively, I adapt my lessons to use materials that give them the best results possible. For instance, some students find the continuity of a coursebook effective, while others prefer to be more flexible with articles and podcasts. I know from experience that every student is unique.

Hola! My name is Laia and I am a student from Spain studying a MA in political science in Brussels. Therefore, my mother tongue is Spanish and Catalan. Moreover, I've had the opportunity to live and study abroad in countries like the United States, Germany and France and I have achieved the C2 level in english (Cambridge title), and the basic levels in French and German. Whether English, mathematics or dance, each course is personalized, depending on the needs and abilities of my student. The first lesson is always an assessment of the student level and the discussion of the main concentration points, particular problems, expectations etc. to benefit the most from the following course. For mathematics and English courses, I first explain the general concepts and the theory, after which we work together on the examples. Whenever possible, I try to give students a small homework assignment. As for the dance, the class starts with the warming up of the body, which depends on the personal predispositions of the pupil-one practices special steps, choreographs, improvises, stretches, etc. As a dancer, I am professionally doing contemporary dance but I mix different styles: I also dance hip-hop and breakdance, I train in ballet to always keep, I have experience in oriental dance , which interests me a lot: I am then at your disposal if it is the choice of style!
